Brazos River Trails in Sugarland. A very FAST trail!
This was my first time out here and I was very pleasantly surprised. First off it was decorated for Halloween which was a really fun experience. I would love to see even more decorations!
I did Tower loop, Missing Link, and hit the pump track. The trails are hard pack dirt and are very fast/flowy. There's basically no obstructions like rocks and roots that would cause you to lose momentum and there's lots of areas with good pump sections to help maintain speed.
Overall I really enjoyed my ride. I can't wait to come back to try the rest of the trails and to use my BMX bike on the pump track. As always thanks for watching!

We Sold The 1960 Teardrop Trailer!

Well as much as we wanted to keep the vintage camper trailer around, we decided it was time to sell it. Why? Because we bought a boat and didn't want to try to keep both in the garage. It was a hard decision but ultimately we decided we would use the boat way more often than we would use the camper. This is just a video documenting how it looked when I sold it and to showcase all the things I d...

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to help today. The group effort made easy work of a big mess. I'm sure there will be a lot of hassle with insurance but we are glad to at least have everything picked up. We are very grateful that no one was hurt during this event and we are ready to rebuild even better than before!

I finally branched out and visited a new trail in the Houston area. This time I'm riding the Memorial Park Mtb trails with Carter. We had a blast and only got lost a couple times :D From what I understand, this is the oldest trail system in Houston. That being said, there were several times that we would choose a line only to find out it is an old trail that had been damaged at some point along...

I was cruising Facebook marketplace when I stumbled across a deal I could not turn down. A 1960 teardrop camper in good condition and for a good price! I got the ok from Andrea, dropped everything I was doing and went out to meet up and buy this gem. We are planning on restoring it, using it for a while and eventually selling it. I recently went to Dallas to pick up a new bike, the Trek Roscoe 9. Once I made it home I made some adjustments, cut the handle bars, added new grips, and a few other small things to personalize my new ride! This is my first ride on my bike after getting it set up how I like it. We had a really good ride, the bike felt amazing and I even ran into my dad on the trails! Thanks for watching!

Man I’m going to be honest. I just pump mine up and give them a good squeeze If you’re going for more speed I would go with a more firm tire to help with rolling speed!
Cool what bike do you have :)?

Since this was I think 2 years ago I don't know if you'll see this Recipe for Crabs that I'm sharing with you. We have Crabs and Spaghetti when we have crabs. To make the gravy you'll need to add a couple Tablespoons of Olive OIl to a pot that's big enough to hold the amount of Crabs you're cooking. Add to that about 5-6 Garlic Cloves or more if you like a lot of Garlic. Saute the garlic but don't burn it. Then add 2 -3 lg cans Tomato Puree or sauce depending on how many crabs you have and a can of Tomato Paste. Rinse each can with a little water so you don't waste any goodness. Add Oregano 2-3 teaspoon and Basil 2-3 Tablespoons and use fresh Basil if you have it - it does come out much better. Add some Old Bay to your liking or leave out if you don't like it. Once the gravy is heated up enough then add your Crabs. I like to cook them about an hour but you can cook longer or less time - I usually go by the taste of the Gravy and if it's strong enough flavor. I use spaghetti and I like a #9 size if you can find it but if not then anything other then Angel Hair is what I use. When the Gravy is almost done I start my spaghetti water and when the spaghetti is done drain and add some of the gravy. You don't have to put to much gravy because you need ot serve some on the side and let people add how much they want along with Parmesan Cheese or whatever Cheese you like. I usually use my Turkey platter to serve the Crabs and always have a big roll of paper towel handy. It's really good eating. You can also make the same gravy and add Calamari too. I have a recipe to stuff the Calamari and would be happy to share that also if anyone wants it. Happy Eating!!!!

You should make a live video & share with us what's going on in the life of dukes outfitters Justin. It would be most dope! 😁 👍
May I suggest you add sea salt to the water that you partially boil them in? You will lose a bit of flavor boiling them in plain water?
Great video! I’m in Houston. Going to head down to Freeport next week and try to catch some blues! Have you tried the JO #2 spice? It’s like Old Bay but it’s a little different. I really like it. Keep crabin’!

Nice camper looking forward to seeing you working on it.
Google this for your gas lights. Vintage gas lights for campers. Those gas lights will heat your camper for winter camping. It will heat you out. Make sure you have venting for fresh air. That toilet flang might come in handy.?? Just saying. Nice tear drop !!
Thanks man! We live in Texas so it doesn’t get too cold and I just wasn’t comfortable with the interior lantern. So I have taken that one out. We kept the one in the kitchen though.
@@dukesoutfitters3599 I use my gas lantern a lot. But I live along the Wisconsin/Michigan line. It gets COLD here... not this year so much. I do winter camping along with hunting season. I made myself a wood burning mini stove...AWESOME.. I can go off grid camping real easy . Even in -20 or -30 below. Christmas camping is the coolest... better with a snowstorm.! Happy camping

I've never eaten crabs like this. I have lived in Maryland since I was 2 y.o. I LOVE crabs. Steamed crabs are just to die for. Everybody knows that MD saying 'Maryland is for crabs' rite? Lmao most Marylanders (my son literally just told me last week-- MY OWN DAUGHTER IN LAW doesnt know!!) don't know that most of the crabs we buy here at r crabhouses-- come from TEXAS and LOUISIANA!! Lmfao especially in the winter months lol nobody knows this!! Maryland barely has any crabs left. We've crabbed the Chesapeake til she's bare almost n Virginia has even done more damage than MD has from what I hear (I forget what its called but it's when they scrape the bottom of the river and pull the crab out-- n eat em) idk that we'll ever recover the Chesapeake in my lifetime. The poor crabbers here are struggling bcuz our waters are just about bare. Generations of crabpickers here in Maryland have gone out of busines bcuza the condition of the Bay too. So, the restaurant (they claim it's world famous but IRL- NONE OF US LOCALS EVER EAT THERE!) Phillips crabhouse-- they import a green crab from somewhere in Asia and pass it off here to the tourists-- as a MD. blue crab. Not only the tourists eat em tho, some of the residents here only buy Phillips crabmeat in our stores etc....its fake tho! It's not a blue crab at all. Idk if I've ever eaten it but if i have, it was accidentally. Are u all in the south? I watch an older couple in FLA who also eat blue crab simarly to how this video shows them prepped. Otherwise tho-- never seen this bfor. We eat em a bit different here. Tons of old bay and maybe a few ears of corn too. The only stuff we throw away are the 'devil' or gills ....personally I only eat the female bcuza the shell. That's the best part of the crab to me (and my family too- my daughter in law was married in tho so she eats males only lmao❤😂 and we STILL love her even tho!) So many Marylanders tho....only eat #1males and they believe theyre Maryland blue crab!! Maryland gets our crabs from TX. & LA ....we barely have crabs here anymore💔
what is your etsy store?
My Etsy store is called dukes outfitters as well. www.etsy.com/shop/DukesOutfitters
Checkout ( the old couple out doors)From Florida, they clean their crabs at the end of each video. I'm from Pa and we cook and clean then eat all at same time where you guys do yours ahead of cooking. But she does cook them whole at times. I'd just rather have them done Maryland style so RUclips someone from Maryland to learn the proper steam and cook with seasonings smothered on them.
Hello, your video was very helpful. My husband and I go crabbing and fishing. We don't purge, after seeing that it makes me wonder. Going forward we will purge.
Im glad it was helpful! Give it a try! I wouldn't say it's 100% necessary but it does help!
Badass music .. From Maryland and Austin . Steel Nets . No need too rinse and then drown them . Steam Beer Cider Layer Good Seasoning !
Im sorry Sir but you should learn what you are doing before you try to start teaching others .
Ah go shove it dude. Don't come here to start shit
@@dukesoutfitters3599 🤣🤣🤣NICE!!
To each there own , he does a good job ,better then some. You probably throw half your crab away cause you can't waste your time. And if your talking about seasonings on his that's on him that's not everyone's way. Just watch and learn or keep on moving . No one says you have to stay.
@OneOut1 If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all. Everyone has their own way of preparing and cooking crabs. I think he did a great job. The info about purging the crabs was good info to share. Also, it was a good idea to partially boil the crabs before putting them on th grill, so they didn't dry out. Personally, I'm positive that you're just an internet troll who who needs attention. So sad.
@@dukesoutfitters3599Just a bit of advice. If you're trying to grow your channel, don't pay attention to trolls. I certainly wouldn't reply to their comment. They're trying to get you mad and to reply negatively to them, so it reflects badly on you. Also, giving them attention only gives them what they want and attracts other trolls. It was a great video. You did a good job. Don't give up. 🙂
You just threw away some yellow crab butter when you dropped that first crab shell in the bucket. That stuff you threw away is succulent. Also each shell should be l9oked into the corners for new skin that is forming for the crab tp ne preparring to shed its shell. You are throwing away some of the most succulent parts of the crab.
I respect your opinion, but we hate the yellow "mustard" stuff in our family. It's just not for us 🤣
How is the stability on this thing? I know it says the capacity is 675 but will it hold two grown men with the motors gas tank etc. comfortably? Or does it get sketchy at that point?
It's good but not great. I never worried about balance when by myself. Two people gets a little tough but you can still both stand and fish. As long as you have good balance you should be fine
@@dukesoutfitters3599 thanks for the info man! I appreciate it!
@@juniorbiel24 you bet dude. Feel free to holler at me on Facebook or ig if you have more questions. I can talk boars for quite a while
Hey im trying to decide on my first gheenoe. Im between the lt modles or the classic or this highsider. Im happy with simple so highsider is taking the win so far. My question. How fast did it go with the 8hp and how fast is it now with the 9.8? Can it do 20-25 mph loaded?
Hey man. So the 8 hp was lighter and faster than the 9.8. The 8 hp was a 2 stroke. Loaded up and by myself it did about 22. I will definitely 100% get a two stroke next time. The classic will be more stable and have a lot more room. If you plan on bringing a passenger get the classic.
@@dukesoutfitters3599 yes ive been reading and watching videos. The highsider and classic are where im stuck. I can install a poling platform on the classic and the highsider will get me through tighter spots. Leaning towards the classic just because of the platform. Thanks for your input. Also it will mainly just be me and my 2yr old daughter out fishing and occasionally my wife or a friend. Winter time though we like to camp so the classic is winning again for storage space.
Thank you for spending time making this video. Very informative.
By the eay, great video. Like the set up on your boat
Guys I'm selling a Tohatsu 15 i had on my gheenoe LT 25 but decided to add a center console and switch to steering. I'm in the edinburg area if anyone interested.
Gheenoes are the best. I restored a 13 lowsider and use it every weekend. Now starting a 15’4” high side restore. Both older aluminum rail models. Love them.
You launched at swan lake, but were y'all actually crabbing in swan lake too? Looks like you guys traveled a bit on the ICW to get to this spot in the video?
Yea we go up the ship channel quite a ways
I like how you explain everything. Thank you 😊

It's for sale. If you want it message me on Facebook facebook.com/justin.minton.90
If I had extra cash I would for sure man. Hopefully I fixed the problems on my 22ft boat so I can get after some kingfish this year
@@wateryeti1368 man king fish sound like a blast. Best of luck man!
Being a Maryland native, it breaks my heart to watch you clean out the guts and mustard (many Marylanders eat that, myself included, great flavor). Your boat setup was awesome, and I’d recommend using some ring net traps, you’ll increase your catch for sure as crabs can’t drop off the way they can with chicken on a string. Great video. Maryland steamed crabs is pretty simple, mix about 10oz each of water, beer, apple cider vinegar at the bottom of a large steam pot, bring it to a rolling boil and add love crabs on top, season with old bay or my favorite JO #2 spice, then cover and steam for about 20mins…. Heaven!!!
Haha yea I get that a lot. I serve these to lots of people who don't usually eat seafood like this so they appreciate not having all the stuff in them. I'm not a fan of it either personally. Just a preference! That actually sounds really good. I've never steamed them. I'll have to give it a shot next time I go.
Its amazing how Marylanders buy their crabs from La and Tx. and then call them Maryland Blue Crab. Blue crab are caught anywhere up and down the Texas coast not just where this guy says.
@@OneOut1 I live in Virginia and know exactly what you're talking about .
I actually had to FF thru that part man!! ALL THAT CRAB WASTED!!!💔😳😖💔😫 lmfao smh and to know-- how bad our Chesapeake has been raped bare!! All the crab companies, the locap crabbers, the pickers etc. that have folded bcuza our Bay being so bare etc....to see as much crab being thrown away?? I couldn't watch! I couldn't! I've never seen anybody #1 waste this much crab bfor (anybody ever come to our table to eat crab and waste that much?? Would be thrown out!! LITERALLY LMAO) And #2-- never seen em prepped like this! Not til the past month or so when I started watching an older retired couple from jersey but relocated to FLA-- they eat them bare like this. But ive never seen this til recently. Doesn't look like anything id eat. U? What parts u from anyway? Bmore here Can't wait for summer/fall for some good crabs!!
@@dukesoutfitters3599 I agree. Way more enjoyable when they are cleaned. Just removes the headaches when eating them and looks more presentable too. I do like the way Marylanders cook (steam) them though.
