The Ewe’s are descendants of Ga’s….We split due to some traveling issues…When we came from Nigeria(Ga’s)we settled in Ho the Volta Region of Ghana but left Ho to settle in Accra but some didn’t wanted to travel anymore so they settled finally in Ho…we took the Ga language from the Yoruba people of Nigeria and changed it to Ga and Ga to Ewe…so after we split those at Ho changed the Ga language to Ewe but sounded almost same to Ga…This is also why most Ga’s and Ewe marry and have similarities in their Language…We harvest maize this is why we have food similarities too,Kenkey from maize and Banku from maize too…When we settled in Ho our main objective was to have farm lands and water resources…

Ga’s are from Israel then from Israel we traveled all the way to Nigeria and settled there for years,then later they left Nigeria to settle in Ghana(Volta Region)then from here we settled lastly in Accra but some refused to go to Accra because they complained they’ve been traveling from one place to another so some Ga’s were left at Volta Region but those at Volta changed the Ga language to Ewe(Aigbe)this is why the Ewe language sounds like Ga…Then the Ga’s in Accra settled here because they wanted to fish and farm…Even till today people in Israel especially Kings are called Nii but pronounced different just like the Ga name of a male child in Ghana and Queens there too are called Naa….This is also why most Ga’s have curly soft hairs because of their descendants….When we settled in Nigeria we settled in a Yoruba land but few people were already there so we moved to Ghana and we traveled long distances so we can settle for small lands that have water and no settlement of people,this is why we first moved to Ho the Volta Region which is a water logged land and Accra too is also water logged…We were many but after we left those who didn’t wanted to go to the Greater Accra Region then we settled for the smallest and most Valuable water logged land and this is why till today the Ga’s have Kenkey and Fish with Shito as their cultural meal….
