God bless you both for all your love and work in helping this poor creature and all the others at your yard. It is a crying shame that horrible man tormented and abused that poor pup! I am thankful that you saw him and took it upon yourself to take action and remove him from the other man’s place. I also cannot believe that man, who was responsible for Shell’s, terrible condition, had the audacity to come to the hospital and try to take Shell away! I do not think I would have been as nice as you were, when you called him on the phone. I was so angered by how much abuse that poor pup had taken, that I wanted to go to that man’s house and beat the ever loving “crap“ out of him! He does not deserve to own any animal whatsoever! Is there no way you can have this man charged with animal abuse and/or neglect and have him fined or, sent back to prison? Obviously he does not care about anything God has put on this earth. I must admit, I cried, seeing how She’ll was in such bad shape. I have been a fierce animal lover and protector all my life and cannot bear to see annimls harmed. Especially by humans! Thank you for sharing this wonderful and heartfelt story and I will keep you both in my prayers as well as keeping all your animals in my prayers as well!
