This was a dope ass interview, I like how y'all touch on the point of representation and the branding of just being your black queer self. This conversation has opened my eyes too fantasy because I am a storyteller and now becoming a writer you need to hear more conversation like this. Like Mr Terry said my art comes from my identity and experiences and those stores need to be told because there might be somebody out there with similar experiences or congruent experiences that needs to know that they are not alone.

I want to know the real stuff: top, bottom, or verse What did you look for in guys? Are you one of those Black dudes that fein for white boys under the guise of "I like who likes me"?

Old Head here. Interesting conversation. I agree their needs to be more cross generational dialogue. Many forget that those of us still here lost many amazing friends, lovers, etc doing the HIV/Aid pandemic . Also many of us who are Boomers are leaving this earth plan, like the rest of the Boomer population, & with a whole wealth of knowledge...

I totally agree about the projection of hyper sexuality on black bodies through the lens of colonization and slavery. However, white gay men also have taken upon this idea of hyper sexuality. My concern is have black men also fallen into the trap of using sex as a way of identifying as a gay men? Because we as African Americans are Americans and we often try to emulate the larger society. Thank you so much young kin folk! This was golden. If we meet one day you better not call me an old head!
