Very slow! I went back early this year and did it again, it’s definitely a very slow and controlled drop.

Just a Hero 7 Black mounted to the chin of my helmet. I used Sugru to attach it.

Nope, I realized later on that it was rattling because I had an air pump inside my SWAT box and it wasn’t tight enough, so it rattled around.

Likewise! We definitely need to go back this year!

I haven’t ridden here in over a year unfortunately, so I don’t know their current condition. Sorry about that, I hope they still exist.

It’s a bit of a heavy bike, so since I have a Zeb to go along with it, I find it a bit sluggish going uphill. It takes a bit of energy out of me since I’m not the strongest pedaller, but it’s certainly manageable. The added momentum going downhill gives it a great ability to plow over obstacles though, so it’s a really fun bike.

@@kylebiemiller4313 phase 1 and 2 have big berms, but the jumps aren’t huge . Phase 3 isn’t finished yet, but it definitely looks promising

@@kylebiemiller4313 its a fun trail but more like a pump track with slightly taller jumps. noting like skyline/a-line still a ton of fun.

Yes it is! It’s on the east side of Mount Penn, and it’s a black rated trail.

@@cf6174 Sorry man, I can’t dish that out, but if you’re lucky you might find someone while you’re there tomorrow that knows where it is! Ask about the downhill trails.

These should all be listed on Trailforks, so if you look on that app you should be able to find them pretty easily.

I’m not really sure, I haven’t been to this area in a while. From what I gathered, there’s government people trying to shut this area down but I’m not sure how well that’s going for them. The people that ride this area aren’t taking too kindly to that.

I live in Hanover. Michaux is definitely a great place to ride, I just checked out the other side of the mountain this past weekend and it was even sicker than some of this stuff! I’ll need to film next time.

Got ya, I saw you ride blue, the watershed, and mount Penn pretty often so I figured you were around that area. I will have to message you when I plan to go up to Michaux and see if you can tow me around these guys

@@blaine142 Sure man, I’m no local but I definitely know the way to go on some of these trails! Try to give me a few weeks as a heads up, I usually have a pretty busy schedule.

Roger that, btw you said the other side of the mountain was even crazier you talkin the same area aka like Woodrow road area? I just read comments and jot stuff down, because from what I’ve heard “this” area is the best for DH / freeride. Which is what I’m about

@@blaine142 Yeah the Woodrow Road area has Frederick style riding on Happy Hour with some really nice drops, and from what I’ve heard, the Bitch trails are sick too. Both of these sections have pretty good downhill trails, I’d say it’s worth going to both.

I had a feeling there was another line right there! That’s what made me stop and turn around, I thought to myself that there had to be a way to ride that pile of rocks right at the end.

I have not, I’ve only been on the upper northeast side. When I first went there I was only doing trails like Big Boy and Bong, but now I’m more interested in exploring it so I’ll have to check out that side of the mountain.

@@kylebiemiller4313 yeah theres just so many good trails in michaux. We might even have a race down bitch trail this summer

Yeah! Check out Blue Mountain Bike Park’s website, they have a whole map layout of the trails. Green is easiest, blue is medium, and black is most difficult.
