There’s this obsession with planning in today’s world… I’ve done some courses to try and up my productivity, plan out my life, map out my life… and then I met someone, someone who really surprised me in saying that they don’t plan, they just let life surprise them, they let life happen so that they can see what it’s all about… and after all that money I spent trying to control the events of my life, I have finally found joy and peace in just living. And as for priorities, the thing that needs to be done today is the one thing that’s on my mind. And that’s how I know that’s the priority. And once that priority is taken care of, I know what needs to be done next. And when I feel OK, that things don’t actually have to be done, I let myself be, because one day I will no longer be here on this earth, and I want to have lived a life that I got to enjoy and see for what it is, instead of always trying to construct it, design it, force it, control it, especially to fit in with societal expectations and pressure. I just live.

Because everyone is the protagonist of their own story, we usually see ourselves better than we actually are. It's interesting that failure though, is a construct that only exists if we believe it does. Because within "failure", we have successfully gained knowledge on the parameters of a particular idea.
