“Feedback junkies”. Now there’s a thought.
Good demonstrations of how the tips of your skis do the Steering so you don't have to. To know what is really going on you have to THINK about every move he is making and compare it to what the skis need from you to allow them to make the turns for you. 0:46 He has just finished a turn and to allow the skis to make a new turn, he faces and leans his upper body down the hill which starts to create a new leg angle because the skis keep crossing the hill. When his legs are vertical, he changes his weight and balance from his downhill to uphill ski and the skis makes the turn because he has done what the skis needed from him. Anything he feels in his feet and legs is a result of his body position and the skis turning by design, not from him creating those feelings to make the skis turn.
Nope. The skiers are steering, not just standing there.
