Transalp 600 revs not dropping
The revs don’t fall when the throttle is closed due to it running lean on the slow circuit.

Ducati Connect Demo, Multistrada V4S
Просмотров 3,8 тыс.3 года назад
A short video to demonstrate what should happen each and every time you use your bike, providing your phone has been correctly paired to your bike's dash. The video also demonstrates how, even once Ducati Connect is connected, you can disconnect it, use your phone for another task, and then it automatically reconnects.

Paint it Black, Snave Curves, West Cork,
Thank you, sir!
what's the fix ?
See my reply to Lumjcaz, there’s a link there to the full story
thank you for the tunes of my youth
It looks like a oil issues, air block? I have a clunk on my 12000m Triple, turning the forks through 30 degrees cw and acw the noise has gone, this is worn bushes, need to replace my ones. Not good after such a short distance.
See my answer to Lumcajz above (or below) for what was causing it.
@@paulphillips1447 can’t see the cause?
@@David-xl9cpThese forks have two female bushes, this guy's has fallen out of the upper bush. If he had the sense to gently feel it, it would slide back in. These forks seem to run a lot of clearance so needing new seals regularly. If one carefully adjusts the clearance, oil seals will last much longer.
@@nigelmitchell351 very good point, the inner is far to far out looking again
Its the secondary bushing inside the outer tube trying to fit . Thats one long suspension play.
Thats correct. The fork cap is seprated to the rod.
Great video. Can you print the notes sheet for a bike from the app? Would be great for giving to a customer.
What I do is to take a screen shot using the phone, save as a photo, which can be sent to the bike’s owner. I also have printed suspension setting sheets which I complete manually from the data collected and hand that over. I agree it would be nice to have a professional print report facility @motool #motool
Can you make a video on how your connection is when you change riding modes while Ducati connect is working as that seems to be the issue since the last dash update?
I’ll try and do that and post it up here 👍
Bro got negative pressure 😂
Not negative pressure, have a look at my reply to Joseph Mizurda below.
@@paulphillips1447 I know, it was a joke
@@funkyribs 😕 it went straight over my head 🤣
Wrong service done :) Do it right and never go back to that issue ;)
Too true. Wasn’t me did the service though, but the previous owner, or at least they got someone to do it. Anyway, issue was resolved 👍
Do you fix it? I have this problem too :(
Yes. The fork cap had not been correctly screwed into the rebound adjuster and was bashing against it. Follow this link to read the full detail www.ducati.community/threads/ohlins-fork-service.26473/
My Ducati connect works well enough with my 2021 Multistrada V4S, I chose not to get the software upgrade, my only glitch is with my music I can't adjust the volume with the toggle & that's it, so no biggie using my helmet to answer calls or adjust volume, I'm leaving well enough alone lol. Everyone ride safe 🙏
I’m guessing, after watching others w/ issues, the trick is you are keeping the app up & screen unlocked. Systems like “KTM My Ride” allow you to lock the phone screen & it still navigates. Also seen people put the phone in the tank sealed compartment & lock the screen, then complain that nav doesn’t work. Your tip makes sense, keep it active, let the app run & just charge
Hi Mike, yep, you have to keep the Ducati App open and on the screen. The App has a Ducati Connect screensaver which moves around the screen. This saves your screen from burnout and, as it’s moving, tricks your phone into thinking you are still interacting with the screen so your phone doesn’t automatically lock itself after whatever time period you set it to do. People also complain about heat generation and the battery running down quickly when in use. However, they ought to remember the phone is doing a massive amount of calculations to constantly determine your position, keep the map updated, and throw it onto the dash via the wifi link. It’s no wonder it gets hot and the battery is used - that’s just normal imo and not a fault of DC.
Hey there, thanks for showing. I've done some videos showing some use-cases with an Android smartphone. Actually usually they don't work. So that's those issues ;) ruclips.net/video/zh3Y94SBmo0/видео.html Also from visitors to my channel those people also complain that it's not working with their iphones as well. So very interesting you're showing that it's working. 1) How about connection aborts while riding? 2) What actually happens if you shutdown your bike, eg. putting fuel in it, coming back to the bike. Does everything connect again automatically? 3) What happens in a call comes in to your phone? Navigation still working while driving? Connection still present? That would be typical issues "we" experience. 👍 Ride hard, ride safe. Best regards 🤚🚀
Hi Mike, I’ll take a look at the vids in your channel when I get chance to sit down and watch them fully 👍. To answer your questions, and I stress this is all in my personal experience and I know some do experience issues; 1. I haven’t experienced (yet) any connection issues/aborts whilst riding, of either the wifi connection for the DC App or the Bluetooth connection for the phone. 2. When the bike is shut down eg to pay for fuel the Bluetooth connection for the phone connects automatically, the wifi connection for the DC App has to be made by opening the DC App on the phone again, accepting the ‘connect’ and then all is good (for me). Admittedly it would be better if it wasn’t necessary to have to accept the ‘connect’ and that it happened automatically as with any other known wifi network. 3. I can’t comment on call handling whilst using Sygic as I usually set my phone to not accept calls whilst riding but I will experiment and feed back.
Thanks for sharing this, very helpful.
Nice job. Short and sweet.
Thanks.
nice vieo thank you
Seems like the road surface is still looking good. I cycle this every August on the Tour de Munster and it's one of my favourite descents since they repaved it a couple years back
Yep, Cork CoCo resurfaced the stretch from the entrance to Nature reserve up towards the Ewe Gardens early last year and it's an excellent surface now - their contractors did a good job for once. From Ewe Gardens to the tunnels is the same as it has been for few years rough asphalt but not too bad, them from the tunnels down the other side to Bonane is excellent as well since a couple of years back. That's a tough cycle - fair play to you.
