      Thank you! The main difference is in the wood. The SK-350G is solid Hawaiian Koa and the SK-35G is solid Mahogany. Mahogany is know for its warmer tones, while Koa tends to accentuate the mid tones. In the Soprano size, these tonal qualities are not as noticeable, as a result they sound fairly similar. Appearance is the bigger difference. The SK-350G has a more ornate appearance with abalone bindings and rosette as well as pearl style tuning knobs. The price difference between the two is primarily due to the additional inlays, Koa and tuners. Both of the ukuleles would share the same build quality. Basically, it you enjoy the look of the abalone and Koa upgrades, then the SK-350G would be your choice. If you prefer to have not so much bling on your ukulele, the the SK-35G would be a great choice. The 35 Series of Ohana Ukuleles has been a staple for us with a constant sound, look and performance over the years.

      They are smaller and not as heavy as a full-size banjo. Plus, people will use a strap which should help some as well.

      Ours measures 35mm. That makes it close to 1 3/8". I am not sure where you got those other measurements, but these are right off the instrument.

      The concert does not have as full of a voice as the tenor has. It is just a little lighter in volume and resonance. In many ways, the tenor, in this thineline series, has a smaller feel, more like a concert, which makes it very nice.

    Is the Kala Makala pineapple soprano ukulele comparable - as good quality

      They would be similar in size, however, the Kala Makala line is more of an entry-level instrument which we do not carry. At half the price I would have to think that it is more of a starter ukulele. The Kala KA-PSS Mahogany Novelty Pineapple Soprano Ukulele was a really nice playing ukulele, it looked great and sounded amazing for its price point.

      Both ukuleles sound great! The biggest difference between the two is the wood pairing. There are several models in the CK-70 series to choose from. If one stands out for you visually, then that one might be the best choice. Personally we like the CK-70SMP.
