Watch how these surgeonfishes can rapidly and dramatically change colors while hanging out at a "cleaning station". I read a blurb that the males frequently do this when courting females, too.

Welcome to the WILDD WEEST
I'm curious about their burrowing habit. Have you heard of them burrowing in aquaria? Perhaps if you found a good 1 inch crocea or maxima and had a crevice in a rock just the right size, would it enlarge the crevice as it grew? Their normal appearance in the wild is so unique, it almost feels wrong to keep them out and exposed in aquaria, just for aesthetics.
To date, I've never heard of one (at any size) doing any burrowing while in an aquarium. It seems that they have to start when they are much smaller than the sizes they are offered to aquarists, or they won't do it at all. No clue why...
Amazing tank. Putting large leather corals and sps and clams together really mimics the way many reefs look at the GBR, obviously that's what you were going for.
Amazing. More reefers should be trying to replicate this on a smaller scale. Instead too many just throw a pile of rocks in there. It needs to look natural and like a miniature reef structure. I'm so glad I found this. I am always looking for this kind of reef structure in dive videos for inspiration.
Thanks Will!
@@jfatherree I've started wondering about sculpting a bommie like this, out of what material I don't know, making it look like a massive porites, then letting frags grow off of that.
Bros "shooting" each other
Given the location, I think it's pretty obvious those are pacific spadefish (Chaetodipterus Zonatus).
This really helped me, I see a lot of these here in the Philippines 🇵🇭
Sir , I received my book today, it’s awesome, you really are a very knowledgeable person, I enjoy the way you present your videos
I ordered the book from Amazon, still watching the videos , you are so perfect at teaching this subject, thank you
Beautiful. A shame I have to keep them out of my reef tank. How often do you go diving?
Some nice looking shaving brushes too 🙂
Is the clam on the left a Giga as well? Looks kind of like a Squamosa.
Good eye! Yes, that’s a big squamosa 👍
Hippopus are so cool and I really want one. Such a cool and weird clam. Thanks!
Very cool! That tiny crocea was cool, especially compared against the small barnacles near it.
All of these videos are great!
Nice!
Loving the videos!
Awesome! Looking forward to all of the videos. Cheers!
My best friend, It's always great. We liked and enjoyed to the end. Thanks
Thanks! Many more to come :)
