Answering mySewnet Cross Stitch Question
Thank you for videos. What software are you using?
@@michelleyoung2879 mySewnet Mac version. I use the Platinum level but the videos show to get creative and accomplish the same thing in the lower levels.
NICE Video and explanation. Alignment stitches how do you compensate for potential compensation? I know if you don't have a tight quilting design; this may be a bit mute? With Alignment stitches you mentioned one grid back with second repeat; which I understand you are avoiding overlap stitching, is this correct? Thank you in advance. 🐾🐾
Thank you SO MUCH. I have been looking for this and its so hard to find someone teaching mysewnet. You are a great teacher. Can't wait to watch your other videos
Thank you!
And I missed this how?! Fantastic tutorial, Maggie!!!!!! I have this saved with your other tutorials. Thank you!
Thanks!
I have a question, when I turn off the button with the lettering and just have the border showing, I see can see the letters. They are a very light white color. What does this mean?
I cannot thank you enough for this! This is the last thing I needed to learn to be able to do everything I used to do in Hatch. THANK YOU!
Thanks this is great i just needed this to finish my project ❤
Happy to hear it! 🙂
Maggie your measuring cursor seems to appear out of nowhere - is there a Mac shortcut to get it without going into the Modify/Edit tab to fetch it?
Yes, COMMAND L for Get Length.
Thank you! Too easy.@@maggieceodraiochtmurphy
Can you do direct me to the tutorial on Tracing a Name? Ty.
I mapped it out in my Facebook group with images, but didn’t make a video of tracing a name specifically. facebook.com/groups/800784613421987/search/?q=name
A four day class may be fun
Maggie, I think you are brilliant! I caught myself going…ah ha! many times. I don’t mind you babbling, one bit! Love your creative and well informed brain.
Thank you!!
I’m still confused why bottom is only 3”. Shouldn’t it be 3.5”?
The basket correction is posted here (Above) as well as all over any basket post in our Facebook group. Unfortunately, you cannot edit a video once it has been posted.
Lots of great information in this video. Thanks
Can you move the start and/or stop points in the designs?
You can use reverse line to flip them or simply drag them. Just with a closed shape you may end up opening it up.
I LOVE THIS!!!!
Thanks!
Thanks for the video
Happy to hear! You’re Welcome.
Thank you! I have been wanting to try this!
Thanks for letting me know :-)
Thank you Maggie! I love that you are a Mac user and explain Gold Version as well.
Good to know. Confirmed Mac user here and I really prefer the cleaner looking Mac version.
Very useful! My favorite method is the last you showed, the knock-down stitch area follows the outline of the name. Pretty!
Agree that is the prettiest. Thanks!
I really like the video. Thanks.
have you posted a video yet for those that don't have the versions above? I have Silver. Thanks, excited to learn
Here it is ruclips.net/video/F3nWPwf4wvw/видео.html
Thank you for not adding music. This is a great start and explanation to making the basket.
Yes, I just can’t control the ads RUclips runs (for them, I don’t get $$$).
Fantastic video!
Thank you!
Thank for the video. Can’t wait to setup my files.
Super! Let us know if oyu have any questions.
Thank you!
Happy you like it.
Looks like a great project.
It is a fun one :-)
Any other design I don’t celebrate Halloween
If you watched the Set Up video we show all different free charts that are available to download. We also have a file with links to places that offer free charts in our Facebook group. You can use any chart you like. People are using all different ones in the group.
I am enjoying your cross stitch series. Thank you!
Thank You!
Great tutorial!
That is so nice to hear - Thanks!
Enjoyed this tutorial. ☺
Thanks for letting me know.
Thank you for this tutorial. How would you go about making just the pumpkins 4 threads?
You would fill the crosses for just the pumpkins and export that, then the rest that you want as 2 threads as a design, export that adn combine in the Embroidery module. Anytime you Export from Cross Stitcher - all crosses will be as you specify in Design properties.
How do I add fills to the inside of the text?
You do it in Digitize, Select Properties and choose a fill.
I miss Tony Bourdain, he was such a good story teller. Thank you for doing these ❤
Glad you like them!
WINDOWS will not load from a PDF. FROM Microsoft How do I convert a pdf to a jpeg? Using the Snipping Tool, snag the section of the PDF you would like to save. In the Snipping Tool interface, click Save. Change Save as File Type to JPEG File and then click Save.
Thanks for the video. If you have a chart that is on multiple pages do you have do each page separately then combine/ merge them together?
It depends on what you want to do.I don’t combine them all into one file if the end result is bigger than my hoops. I’d rather stitch two files and use design positioning. If you’re better at graphics programs you can combine them into one chart to load. I’m better at the Embroidery module and it’s easier for me to make the separate cross stitch files then combine and align them in that module.
Hi, New to embroidery and dint understand hi we toy starred any if this. It would be nice if you would explain from the beginning how you got ti where your started this video. Thank you
It will be coming - most of these short ones are for something we’re explaining in the Facebook Group. We have a lot of back and forth there with pictures and instructions. facebook.com/groups/mysewnet
Very well explained.
Thanks!
Very well explained.
Thanks!
Hi Maggie... Has this been fixed now???
One suggestion is to make sure the camera includes the items across the top of your screen so we can see where you go to get dropdowns
Thanks for sharing, appreciated it ❤️
Grazie per i tutorial, mi piacerebbe siano tradotti in italiano 😍
Love your videos, and that you are using a Mac. Looking forward to your next video
Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom. It’s so helpful.
Thanks Maggie!
You’re welcome!
Love your tutorials!!!! Finally I am learning this software. Thanks a bunch!
Maggie, this is fabulous. You did a great job in explaining.
Thanks!!
Thank you so so much for the videos and I totally understand why you turned the comments off in the group. I’ve been watching all of your videos, keep them coming!!! You help me decide to not download windows on my Mac. Now, I’m definitely going for the new MacBook Pro M1.
So glad to hear it!! 30 Years ago there was only PC, so most dealers have come up through PC and it’s easier for them to stick with what they know. I get that. But, I do love the Mac program!!
So happy to have found your videos. Thank you for clear, easy to follow directions.
Thank you!
You’re welcome guys! Love to hear it :-) .
