Follow our team of American Miniature horses through their 19th year of making hearts smile. Thank you to all that invited us into your lives and to our incredible voluteers and supporters. We are looking forward to celebrating our 20th year on 2024!

2020 Brought us all difficult times and challenges. Leo was rushed to NC State twice. But his amazing little spirit fought hard to overcome his flare ups. Stampede Of Love lost one of our own in May. Our beloved Gru of the Minion Team, Briscoe County, passed away. We will forever love and miss our special guy. Stampede Of Love's year in review is dedicated to my sweet boy. Lost by never forgotten.

I have never seen horses have such a blast together. These guys can really let the grueling schedule of being rock stars, all out at play time. Totally awesome animals.
It's absolutely terrible these lovely horses have their tails cut. It looks awful & how can the poor animals flick away the flies with no tail! Cruel people!
It's ok to cut a horse's tail. it helps because they are carriage horses, so their tails don't catch on the equipment or get trodden on.
@@bbqbean301 I get when ppl cut just the hair. But they had to cut those horses tailbones for it to look like that, not very nice.
Budweiser Clydesdales tails are not docked
@@conniepauwels2145 they are docked, the natural tail bone would come to nearly the bottom of the rug, this video shows clydesdales at a show in Scotland where the tail bone has the hair trimmed off because docking is illegal. No where near the freeway. Behind the Big Barn at the KY Horse Park. Tractors and their own semi truck moving equipment.
@@Stampedeoflove. Although Cynthia Rogers may have made a wrong assumption about the cause of the noise, it still seems too much noise to actually be called peaceful. It is a safe assumption that horses like peace and quiet in general. Then again, it may be dead silent daily between 6 pm and 6 am? That e.g. would balance out the noise.☺️

I visited the AB Farm in St. Loius years ago and it was breath taking! Every detail in the barn is perfect and the gentle GIANTS were very spoiled and happy!
Fun to watch. Not very pleasant background noise, though. I hope the horses don’t have to put up with the racket all day.

Majestic Animals!
These horses are the most beautiful animal that I have ever seen in my life. Maybe one day I can pet one.
One of the Budweiser teams’ “homes” is in Ft. Collins, CO. Although you can’t pet them, you can see them closer in their corral. Check first to see when they are onsite (they travel a lot and have other “homes” too). If you attend the Stock Show in Denver (January) there are usually teams that compete and demonstrate their awesome power and finesse. You can go into the barn and see them up close as they’re being tacked up (not the Budweiser Clydesdales but privately owned teams). Be respectful of the horses, the owners, everyone’s safety and remember these are HUGE beasts that can startle. You’ll be amazed at their size.

That's fun? Been "reined in" all their lives, don't speed up to canter or forbid...a gallop. They are still very disciplined even at freedom times. Seemed happy. Beautiful 💖

draught horses don't like running, generally. I've gotten a couple up to a gallop (under saddle) and they do nothing but bitch about it.
Maybe the blanket feels like another kind of harness to them ?

They get to do this on the road quite often. And if the handlers can't find a place for the horses to relax, they take them on walks in the morning for an hour. Additionally they go back to the ranch for 2 months or so for a break.
