Bravo!! I consider this Clapton's cover as a tribute to Rory Gallagher's one in 1974 which was much more lively than his of the same time! This one is very good!!

I'm not sure if anybody embodies the slow blues as well as Clapton. IMO his interpretation is better than the originals and Clapton has endorsed real life personal struggles. Despite his accomplishment, he's seen some blues.

Every gig from the tour is 10 times better than the official album. I still don't understand why Eric didn't made a live album from the tour 😳

EC was at the top of his craft when he let go and completely embraced the blues in the 90’s.
when he got sober, Can you imagine if he never did drugs how good he would be

The licks are easy in isolation. It is how Clapton builds like a slow train gaining momentum that is magic. There is always a transcendent 'wtf did I just hear?' moment.
Like fine wine...Mr. Clapton just gets better and better with age which I did not think was possible...This version is absolutely awesome...makes me wanna dance...

No, this was recorded during the "Nothin' But The Blues Tour" 1994-1995 prior to dating Ms.Crow in the late 90's
