Can someone please translate me the meaning behind this song
Its about petroitism, like he's saying if you really wanna make the change you shall be the change to bring the change in the community. He's comparing how our ancestors fought for freedom and now there's not much unity. The title "Nampi Kongtol" means (to bring the change in Kuki Community). He's talking about people should wake up and understand their standings and their job to fulfill the needs for the community. Sadly the singer passed away😔
Nampi kongtol translates into one who is rowing the 'patriotic boat' it's a metaphor, he is advising the leaders of the community to be bold,fearless and do better in all aspects of their leadership for a better tomorrow and future of the kuki community/nation but the sad truth is that the vocalist got murdered in cold blood by the same people whom he is giving a patriotic message to, his own people killed him for selfish reasons.
