During reign of 6th Uyghur Khagan Qutluq Bilge In 790-795 AD Uyghur Empire expanded on the West, pushing Tibetans away from Silk Road. Military operations were conducted in Beiting -Beshbaliq ( Jimsar-Urumchi ), Gaochang (Turpan-Kara-Khoja-Yar Khoto), Karashahr and Kucha. There were some evidences that Uyghur troops reached even Fergana Valley, because local Qarluqs allied themselves with Tibetans. Jewish-Persian document from Khotan indicates that military operations also included Kashgar, that was freed from Tibetan occupation.
Qutluq Bilge Khagan (𐰸𐰆𐱃𐰞𐰸:𐰋𐰃𐰠𐰏𐰀:𐰴𐰍𐰣) was the last Khagan of Yaghlaqar (𐰖𐰍𐰞𐰴𐰺) clan.
Uyghur themselves are invaders from Mongolia who had nothing to do with these regions.
