He uses basic attacks for the first part of the fight to build up magic. Then when Rodin goes Devil form, he equips Bracelet of Time to manually activate Witch Time so he doesn't have to worry about dodging properly anymore. He built up enough magic to be able to use it pretty freely until the fight ended.
@@davidmankiewicz6499 dude, it's been years and I still can't beat this guy. It's literally the only thing I haven't don't in Bayonetta 2. Was hoping to beat him before 3 came out.
@@TwinTailsTuroci To be honest, when I played this game extensively on WiiU, someone playing as Balder helped me beat the Tag-Climax version of him (while I hung back as Rosa to provide ranged support) so I could play as him. I don't even remember if I beat the lone fight version.
@@TwinTailsTuroci I beat him using Jeanne by following Urser's method: All 4 One + Alruna for phase 1, then All 4 One + Agni for phase 2 with the accessories Eternal Testimony + Infernal Communicator equipped. Her longer Witch Time (about 3 full seconds) and Wicked Weave damage bonus felt like a good balance between Bayonetta and Rosa's attributes. She has sufficient time to perform a PKP with the Alruna grab or the Agni slash in the middle even after using Crow Within first if she needs to close the distance. You could give this strategy a try if you are still having trouble. Kafka or All 4 One paired with Chain Chomp could also work.
You are a wizard. What exactly is your strategy? I can't 100% tell what your doing. I noticed a lot of ppp spamming.
