This is an old video but I still like to watch some of the older try guy's videos, and since Neds in them its hard not to think of these things. I didn’t like his vibe from the beginning personally, but I think later down the line, I just didn't like him thinking it was a preference thing. Watching without a recipe when he did an angry act, trying to emulate what Keith had done a few seasons ago bothered me. It didn’t feel like a fun little act like Keith's it felt like an outlit to get angry with little consequences. Watching those clips again still makes me cringe.

I know it's late, but can I just say that despite the "legality" of the infedelity (to quote, "a power imbalance" so to speak), I can't take it/credit it? Alex literally talked in the podcast about her wanting this certain celebrity despite them being unavailable/already having a partner. Seriously? I genuinely don't think it's a power imbalance or all of it being Ned's fault. It's both of them. BOTH. OF. THEM. Remember, Alex is about to get married to her man of 10 years. 10 fucking years.

Heres a thought if they had went their seperate ways after leaving buzzfeed and made their own seperate personal channels people would watch Keith, Eugene and Zach individually and like it whereas if Ned had made his own channel people would watch it only for Ariel, not for him

what fucking sucks is that the only reason it took so long is because Ned could have sued them and they were genuinely scared of that. Ned was ruining their reputation and the had to worry that their FRIEND would sue them.

here for the ned shade, but at 3:30, you can see (even at a glance) that the fonts are not the same. the overall theme though, of an announcement written in black text on a white background, is. could still be an attempt on ned's part to soften the blow and align himself with the Try Guys, but not the same font, just to be clear.
