Shoulder Strength and Stability Exercises
I tried doing this and ended up with a knee full of tape that didn't help but just hurt to train with💀
I suffered an atrocious sprain 5 months ago and im still recovering so this really helped❤
thanks! i need this to be able to work tmrw
Looks secure 🤔
K-tape from Meglio is very adhesive. If you warm it up afterwards using the paper backing it can easily stay on for a few days. We also recommend shaving the area - we didn't for this video because it was just a demonstration 🙂
Trash…. Completely worthless.
Thank you ❤ this video helped me to continue my work
Funziona davvero
This man has nice legs. Friend lady
im recovering from mcl tear gr2, is it normal I cant straighten my knees 4 weeks after injury? I can walk but I cannot fully straighten and bend close my knee
How long should each part be?
Ima stick to my ankle brace but thanks just in case I lose it!
looks rather worthless for even moderately intense training... that tape is a rip off - pun intended
I was wondering why everyone had the split pieces and i couldnt find them anywhere. Glad to see how to do it now!
Can i do the angle change with the step up if I teared both acl/mcl
Damn sorry to hear that, severely sprained both mcls doing this limbo dance and struggled for months. Wish I would’ve thought about rehab vs just waiting for it to get better. You’re already on the right track to the fastest recovery learning rehab stuff. Good luck 🤘🏼
Perfect for EDS. has to be very tight to hold for me.
Im stroke, how is straight my elbow .. pls help ... Thank you
Are you kidding me? 😢
Bro i have bad pain when bending my right leg, all started after hack squatting on the old machine, it feels fine when i dont bend it, i suspect its an MCL strain might be wrong.
Start from easy af rehab stuff, like lying down nd then bending then go for assisted squats then body weight then some resistance band stretches then 1leg squats, maybe some Y squats for better MCL stretch nd strengthen then plyometrics
@@YeeNyaa work the joint out daily? Or 2 time a week?
@@erniecarrasco9107 if you are to give complete rest to it, alternate days are fine. Rest days still on bed have some movement
It’s a big no with hairs
Any exercises to prevent mcl retear?
The same exercises as in this video can be used to help prevent re-injury for most. However, I can't claim that they will work for everybody in preventing MCL tears. If you want something more specific to you, then I would consult your local Physio.
That will peel off in a 20 seconds.
Nah, K-tape from Meglio is very adhesive. If you warm it up afterwards using the paper backing it can easily stay on for a few days
It is also Waterproof
Thanks for the vid it’ll be very helpful! I’ve just got a mcl injury and I have to ask before doing this how long should I probably rest my left after the injury before doing these exercises?
It’s hard to say as it varies significantly from injury to injury. Initially you would want to de-load/rest the joint to allow some time for the pain to settle and avoid further injury. Once the pain has started to settle (this depends very much on the severity of the injury), then more loading and rehab such as this video can commence. If you're unsure please consult your local Physio.
Shave.
😂
It is better to shave first for sure! But for a short demo video it wasn’t worth it
Shave your leg first. Pro tip. 😂
Agreed! Definitely better to shave first as it adheres to the skin better. I just didn’t want to for a short demo video 😅
Is this behind the head one ok 12 moths after my whole 3 rotator cuff operation? Because I just did them and it felt not bad but I’m paranoid, please answer me? ☺️🙏
It depends from person to person, but after 12 months I would say you would most likely be ok to do these. If you’re concerned I would suggest seeing your local Physio to get a personalised plan 💪
Thank you...is there a name for the tape...or can we use any tape
Kinesiology tape
Yes it K-Tape we get ours from Meglio
Fuck that. Get medical tape, and do the tape job right.
Elastic sports tape.
What is the name of that tape ?
K-Tape
Yes it K-Tape we get ours from Meglio
Should it pulled, stretched and applied ? So it holds tension ? Or just as it is ?
It should be stretched and then applied
It should be stretched but at the ends make sure to apply no pressure and just lay it down
Just as the others have said. You want to stretch the tape, giving it some tension. But then at the ends don't stretch it and just stick it down with no tension.
I've been calf pain when bending my knee since November. Not sure how maybe kicking too hard with not too much monentum and that might of injured the righht side of the middle of my knee and maybe more. Its been 5 months since then and the pain has significantly decreased but i still struggle with pain and weakness in that knee area. Hopefully these helps
Sorry to hear this! Hopefully these exercises help you 💪
A.mi me duele mucho la lumbar
Sorry to hear this. I would advise seeing your local Physiotherapist to get it assessed 🙌
How does tape on the outside help the inside?
it helps by supporting the the area thats hurting. At least i think thats what it does
To help this inside (golfers elbow), you can do a very similar tape application but down your wrist flexors instead and with a horizontal piece across the common flexor origin on the inside of your elbow. Hope that helps
@@comforthealthclifton I thjnk he's asking how putting tape on the outside of your arm (on top of the skin) helps the inside of your arm (the tendon under the skin).
Cwicz,dobrze❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you 🙏
No stretching on the tape ends.... only in the middle right?
Yes only stretch the tape in the middle
Which tape you are using in the video mention the brand plz
@@learnwith_nirwan Any of the cotton based tapes will do avoid the plastic versions.
What if 3 months after the injury there’s only mild pain, but cracking and popping?
Cracking and popping may possibly suggest a different type of injury. Have you had it checked out by a Physiotherapist? If I was concerned then I would definitely go and see someone to get it formally assessed. In the meantime, if these exercises do not exacerbate your pain and you feel stable doing them, then they should be fine to continue with.
@comforthealthclifton thanks for the help! Which side do you do these on? The affected side does the motion, or is it the stabilizing leg?
@@erich7662 in this video it’s the right leg that is the affected side. Hope that helps 👍
When should you start doing this?

I play baseball so i need this

Okay, that's crazy hard to do.
Yea! Great exercise though if you can get to it!
Not the weirdest dance moves i've seen so far.
