It was Next Level Racing Wheel Stand 2.0 + GT seat add-on, it was pretty much equivalent to their GTTrack. Can't say I recommend it now though, get an aluminum profile rig instead.

You are probably running a pretty low brake force value on its 90kg load cell, I was running 100% on the CSL LC's 60kg load.

I used to have a WS2.0, but I have upgraded to F-GT Elite for a year now, so no longer can I test it with WS2.0, but honestly I don’t think it would be up for the task.

There is a big difference in strength, and some difference in responsiveness, but not much else yet since no game has supported FullForce yet. So it really depends on what you are looking for, for me the increased strength is worth most of it.

@@Nathaniel_Wu thanks for the response, I’m still undecided whether to go for one or not. Pre order for 26 February it says on Fanatec website but would imagine it being a couple of months away in truth. I’ve already got a DD pro and really don’t know whether it’s worth the upgrade ?

Before any game implements FullForce support, the only benefits in my opinion are the increased force and somewhat faster responsiveness, so it depends on what you are looking for.

Quick question, is your DD+ make a humming or whining sound? A lot of people who got the first batch of DD+ had some sound coming out of wheel base.

No, I'm not getting a loud noticeable coil whine. If I get really close to the base I can hear a very small humming noise, which is actually even smaller than the same noise on my DD Pro.

I never tried Simlab GT1, but I'd assume an aluminum profile rig is going to be stronger than this.

@@Nathaniel_Wuthis is steel! Aluminum is a softer, lighter metal.

Do you even know what aluminum profile rigs look like? The profiles are so much thicker and more rigid than this thin plate, even though it's steel.

@@Nathaniel_Wu Ah, must've skipped right over that part. Yeah, I know about the 80/20 rigs. Been wanting one for some time now but caved and bought this instead. I'll save the full rig for another time as that's more for a fixed setup.

Yes, I did. The locking bolt on QR1 solves that problem but creates a new one by turning a quick release into a slow release. QR2 fixes everything.

It was from the rig's pedal plate. I usually use headphones so not a big issue.

It sounds like you’ve never tried the FFB test in Fanatec Control Panel. The noises are from the moving parts on the wheel rim, like buttons.

You can set INT to 0, and run kerbs or off-road, that'll create high-frequency oscillating FFB signals as well, and might cause your wheel to make noises. But if you are holding the wheel, it dampens the oscillation.

Next Level Racing F-GT Elite. You can make any aluminum profile rig movable by adding caster wheels.

@@Nathaniel_Wu Ah okay, I've never heard anything like it. Sounds like your DD is knackered, but obvs not thankfully. I've got a Clubsport DD coming later this morning, and fitted the QR2's to my wheels in prep. Can't wait. Are you still loving it?

No complaint, as solid as expected. You can try the FFB test in the Fanatec Control Panel when you get your CS DD, I'm sure you'll hear a bit of similar plastic rattling noise, the loudness varies depending on the wheel, unless you directly slap a wheel rim onto a podium hub without any button box. As long as it does not sound like metal, it's completely normal.
