In this video series I create a beautiful #keepsake box in my signature style. I use exotic wood veneers chosen for their visual impact and bond them to plywood for a solid substrate.
I demonstrate with veneers how simple it is to wrap the grain around to meet at the corners. A subtle detail that gives the box a little extra something.
I show my simple method of making fake mitered corners.
Something I think is unique in my build project is the use of 90 degree offset kerf cut hinges.
