Thanks for playing my map Olympic it was very enjoyable to watch. Im glad you liked it. Some clarifications: Jam was from 1st to 15th of may but it was later extended cause many mappers jumped on the vagon late, i started at 8th and made it in 12 days from scratch. Place is based on Olympic sport complex (Loosly lol) i've been , and still am going to. You as all people missed at least 2 spooks, and 1 chill shadowman. And as all people couldn't help himself to jump from the diving board. Thanks again for playing it.

Regarding the map, we kinda got bamboozled by CartoDB as their supposedly "free" Map API suddenly stopped sending us tiles and rather returned 403 forbidden because they though "oh hey, our servers get a lot of traffic from there, let's block it without giving them a notice". And we also couldn't figure out a way to PAY for the map because that option does not exist, you have to contact them and then negotiate with them or sth idk. For that reason, we had to quickly set the regional map to be the english / default option while we implemented a completely new map and new map framework as well, because we actually switched to Apple Maps (which we cannot stream as a tileset in Leaflet) now as that is the only "affordable" map that looks somewhat good, is in english and is not blurry and ugly.
Regarding the score system, it's the same as in singleplayer now. So basically, standard + capitals stays the same, famous places & community maps got reduced to 1k max because it was too easy to farm XP this way. Also, for country modes (US, Germany etc.) your guess will have to be closer now that it is a 5k so that it is more balanced.

Hey there! I'm a dev from OpenGuessr and the issue with the duplicates should have been addressed in yesterday's patch :) The reason for that is, that the host has somehow hosted the round "twice" so that everything happens twice - double the rounds, double the players etc. This was being caused by the leaving not being handled properly in some cases which should be fixed now, but lmk if there are any issues. It's also intended, that the code stays the same between matches, that's how our system works and should not cause any issues. We also just yesterday added join links that also work for guests (no need to be logged in). Also, if you experience this again, then the host should simply reload the site which will terminate all running multiplayer clients. Great guesses btw!
I would say it is a "game design study". I was expecting actual levels analysis, but this is also interesting, if not a bit slow (you walk back and forth in one place / room for long time commenting very minute elements). I understand (didn't listen full video) that you are a slav? Understand language? I would prefer a bit more fluid/faster paced gameplay. Maybe you could record gameplay first and then record commentary after? This way this video would be more interesting to watch (and shorter, more condensed). Otherwise this looks like very slow gameplay with improvised commentary. Was this a stream first, then uploaded to YT? One thing that annoyed me a bit is that you question some design details, that are not realistic /logical by real life architecture standards. I think we should consider some elements of level design as videogame puzzle elements (switch hunting, weird placement of levers, valves that open doors in some other place) not as "why is this valve here, if door opens in totally other place". Anyway, i hope i was polite and gave you constructive feedback. This is a wonderful game, with eerie atmosphere and i recommend this to anybody who likes shooters. All the best to you! Edit: Okay, i read description of your channel and got answers to some questions i asked in my feedback. Stream videos, you are level designer etc. I like that you have very interesting selection of games in your channel. :) Continue what you do. (I still prefer more edited analytical videos) :D

45:00 - Hmmm, odd that you avoided the nailgun right next to the start of the map at first, but by the time u run out of ammo in the small canyon if u avoid... there's a super nailgun just ahead! That music btw is the Luke Jansen remix of Heretic's E2M7 "Great Hall" and the glowing keymarkers are a Heretic reference as well. Too bad about the error, tho - I hope they update the download with my fixed version (in Spasm Spiked you can get away with not placing the 'dummy' precache gaunt, and guess where I tested this in - QSS coop, the reason for those teleporters that open up as well) And my encounters are purposefully 'difficult but beatable.' To quote Civvie on his SIGIL review: "There's a huge difference between incompetent design and deliberate evil. Romero played upon our hubris, and I gotta say - it's a good burn." Tho my DOOM love shows for better or worse.
Oh yeah, I see it now lol, I guess I just got too distracted and didn't notice it. Oh, cool! I'm a bit illiterate when it comes to old shooters, so I couldn't appreciate the references, unfortunately. Yeah, with encounters it definitely worked out for me that way (with exception of maybe the last sudden spawn right near the final boss). Good balancing for sure, not something that is easy to do without extensive playtests.
I forgot to upload streams that cover first two levels and twitch just deleted them. Fortunately, nothing of value was lost.
