I also am making or trying to make a magic game based on the player be able to create / edit is own spells, but man Id just love your idea, Im intressed on how it works. Its like a sequence of events or components that have behavior that are attached to a "spell actor"?
Each glyph is its own actor, spawned in order. Logic is then triggered immediately, or bound to a certain event/condition in case of the trigger glyphs.
This looks like a really cool concept, and I can’t wait to see how it develops!

Airships are cool. I did find Guns of Icarus got a bit boring though, but that's a MP game without boarding.

This is the combat demo for a project I'm calling The Bird Roads. I'd like to start playtesting on steam early next year, fingers crossed haha

looks amazing! It would be cool if the canons you contol move in a more dynamic way (for example: the gunner doors in arma 3) so its not the camera but the gun moving

Great devlog! I hope you know that it's alright to move on to other projects! You should try making something tiny, like a micro-project! Rather than going up in complexity, try going up in polish! It feels really good to finish something, and you learn a lot of things that huge passion projects don't teach you.
Thanks for the advice! Didn't manage my time properly with this one, but polish and early vertical slices are definitely a priority moving forward. Learned a lot from this project, and I'm excited to apply the knew knowledge.
