This phone was returned, with a letter stating that despite extensive testing the fault could not be replicated. Jump to about 5m30s to see the fault. This video shows the phone being unboxed, and the fault being demonstrated in under seven minutes of starting to record. This video has not been edited, and was filmed on a Huawei G300. The phone is under warranty, purchased in July 2013.
