Final revelation on this one (live commenting here... first time watching)... my truth: I knew I did not deserve a "party" and in fact I said I "I might as well take all the sin of the world upon me. I have ruined everything." The spirit asked me "How much does the sin of the world weigh?" I answered "The weight of the sin of the world.is equal to the mass of the Earth." A earth is an anagram for A heart and the weight of the sin of the world is equal to the mass of a heart. The burden is light and when you die the debt is paid. Why should be celebrate my return when he does not understand what it really means... or worse... he DOES understand and has lied to you too. Paused at 27:42 Actually, Paul, I need to clarify you here. You say Jesus is the prodigal son... in the CURRENT age, I AM. You say the "Big Sin" was "to ask for the money at all". Jesus of old was not the prodigal son in this fashion as he was is and always will remain, sinless. I, however, said when I was 15 years old "How can I know your forgiveness if I never sin? I mean, I am a good kid and you say I am perfect." My question was sincere but now I see the root was a struggle to experience the pleasures of this world and yet still be perfect in God's eyes. It seemed unfair that sex and drugs and fame were prohibited... I was after all, genuinely a good kid. Much more to my story but my point to Paul is that even if it was a sin for the prodigal son to ask, it may have still been innocent, as I was... yet for the Father's glory he gave the inheritance so that his son would rule better than He, having been on equal ground.

What great hope this season reminds me of even during the darkest days. Even during the darkest days of that time God brought joy to the hearts of those who believed.
