Turning Childhood Ambitions into a Thriving Indie Game Studio with TU Alum Joe Granato

The Department of Electronic Media & Film hosted filmmaker and indie video game designer Joe Granato (TU Alum, 2004) for a special guest presentation titled Turning Childhood Ambitions into a Thriving Indie Game Studio. The event was held November 7th on Zoom.
From TU film grad to figurehead for a retro game revolution, hear the winding, weird story of Joe Granato's journey of success through failures, and how he synthesized childhood ambitions into a thriving indie game studio.
The event was hosted by Adjunct Professor Matt Markowitz, instructor for EMF Special Topics: Video Game Studies (available for students to take in the Spring 2025 semester).
