I try to keep my WIP count to 10. Any more than that would ramp up my anxiety. I use the Tiny Decision app to pick my projects and generally do one a day. But sometimes one particular project calls to me and I keep going on it for a few days. Thank you for sharing your process for picking WIPS.

I found this fascinating. Long time stitcher who is used to stitching on one thing at a time, I have recently divided up projects into a week long stitch on a project then switching to a different one for the weekend. This speaks to me about being emotionally involved in seeing progress but not getting tired/bored of the sameness. My daughter has ADHD inattentive non hyperactive and this also helps me understand how she works & maybe how to approach tasks for her. Thank you SO much for this!!!

Great suggestions for travel stitching and crocheting - do you take another light or is the airplane one adequate for you? I have struggled to find a good portable light and definitely need one for both the flight and the hotel. I hope your vacation is wonderful!😎

This is a great collection of autumn patterns. There are quite a few in there that I would stitch. One of my favorite groups of fall patterns are the autumn garden palette that came out as a collaboration a couple of years ago. I’ve stitched two or three of them so far. I also like taking pictures of houses, architecture, buildings that have interesting architectural features. I have a bunch of random photos from vacations where I’ve just taken pictures of houses in neighborhoods. I think it’s fun.

I don’t get a chance to post much. I have super fun on your vacation. I’m excited for you and I love your finishes and your projects that you’ve been doing hugs.

Hi Marika, nice designs. I would absolutely stitch some of them if I had the time :D we don't celebrate Halloween in Czech Republic, so we usually decorate for autumn and sometimes add some pumpkins to it. But pumpkin spice latte is a must! :D it is actually a tradition with my ex-roommate that we go to Starbucks for PSL every year 😁 Happy stitching!

Hi Marika! I LOVE the autumn, but I'm not much of a decorator. I want to be, but I just never have the time. For some reason, I strongly associate Blackbird Designs with autumnal cross stitch, despite the fact that they have a very diverse catalogue of designs. One of my WIPs is "Away We Ride" by them. Currently I am focusing on Halloween Fairy by Mirabilia, with the intent to finish it by tomorrow. I also love Mill Hill, and I stitched the Buttons & Beans "Moonlight Kitties" a few years ago, and I display it in my home office year-round. :)

How terrible to have constant migraines, I hope the doctors find a way to help you soon. I really like the work you are doing with glow in the dark beads. I have a Mill Hill kit of a candelabra that I am trying out glow in the dark threads on the sections of the flame and halo. It is on black perforated paper and I am having difficulty seeing the holes but will persist to finish it for Halloween.

Thanks for reminding me that I have several Mill Hill glow-in-the-dark beads...I need to find a project for them asap 😊 Hope your migraine subsides soon.

I have thought about ordering the Mill Hill kits from you several times and I would love to get several at the same time but the postage gets really expensive if you order several at the same time.

I just found your floss tube and really enjoy listening to you. I loved all your stitching projects. Our tastes are a lot alike in pattern choices. I especially liked the Mill Hill kits but my favorite was the Vampurr! I have a cat that has that same coloring and I would love to purchase that pattern. Are you on Etsy? I live in the USA. Do you send mail there or can I get a pdf ? Let me know please.
