Which is natural because After that number of divisions it has practically become a regular cloth with more and more smoothness. Its is just like the difference between 4K and 8K video quality. With a small number of faces (1-256) its a matter of seconds, with hundred of thousands of faces usually is a few seconds per frame and with millions of faces tens of seconds per frame. Note that I have an Intel i9 12900k with 64gb of ram, so it's not a big deal to bake such things
