Sprint of Seventies XS750 cafe racer walk around
Просмотров 11 тыс.4 года назад
Professionally built in 2012 by Spirit of the Seventies in Kent, this is Spirit II. Originally a 1979 XS750, upgraded with an 850 motor, custom fabricated exhaust, Mikuni flat side carbs and Ramair filters. The tank is original, with the seat from a TZ750, all electronics relocated, custom fabricated rear sets, clip ons and single electronic speedo. Yamaha R6 front brakes and discs. #spiritofth...

Absolutely stunning.
Looks great but my butt needs more padding!!!
Very nice, clean, good looking build. Love to know info about your oil cooler setup. The oil temp on my E model runs very high which was common on these.
where did u find those brake disks?
They are from an R6
@@nickoak4666 ooook super! I bought an xs750 yesterday. Was a someone else project and needs bit of work to be ready again. I have FZ6 spare parts at home.
Perfect!@@watchmaker_dekia
Mate, this bike sounds incredible to say the least!
Just got a 1977 yahama xs750 cafe racer..inprocess of redoing the old bike
Where did you find your 3-1 headers? I have a 78 XS750 and cannot find them.
Where are you? I have a spare set

Beautiful bike
Hey I am trying to get a similar stance and would love to know the length of your rear shocks, it looks like you have the perfect amount of clearance
We had things called mudguards back in the 70s.......
Beautiful bike
I’ve seen the r6 swapped onto these but haven’t seen what year span people use. What year r6 did these come off of?
I’ve been curious about this also
Beautiful job !
Looks great. Did you have the caliper brackets made for the R6 calipers or did you buy them somewhere?
They were made
Come on wheres the ride video!?! Flyby video?!? :D
Thats an wwesome built man! May I ask how she's running with your carbs? I ordered the Mikuni flat slide carburators too but I can't find a good setup. What's yours?
I love it, my xs850 will might be like this! Colourwise!
All that work and you didn't paint the engine.
So that's a 18" front wheel which is mod I have done as the originals are 19". Carbs are from a 90's Triumph triple.
Nice one but sound check missing.
Hi agian sorry for the bother is it ok if my dad can ask u a couple questions plz
If I can help I will....
Ok
@@nickoak4666 where did you get the triple clamp?
@@nikoc7478 it’s the standard top triple clamp. The original handlebar mounts have been capped off. Then it was polished. Finally a set of clip on bars were fitted. All this was over 8 years ago so a lot of it is lost in the mists of time!
Yo I. Ur first sub any tips on how to make the seat
Hi, sorry for the delay. The seat was modelled on a TZ750 race seat, shaped and then reproduced in carbon fibre. I didn’t make it, it was the work of a company called Spirit of the Seventies in UK. Unfortunately they are no longer in business. Sorry I can’t offer more help.
@@nickoak4666 ok that's alr thx anyway I'll stay subscribed
Hi my dad is gonna make this bike any tips on how to make the seat I dropped a sub
Hi nick. Great bike you got there. I was just wondering what year those brake rotors and callipers are from the r6. Would like to use them on my own xs750 build. 👍
Holland Motovlog Channel The callipers are from an 04 R6 and the rotors are from an FZR400. Good luck!
@@nickoak4666 Did you create those caliper mounts yourself?
