RAREST PLECO!! A fish so special I drove 9 and a half hours to pick it up. watch tell the end to see what it is. also picked up more fish from jason. Added a auto water change to the 1200 gallon tank ! Have had it running for a week now. Silver dollars showing breed behavior. water clear as it's ever been. don't forget to sub!!!

When you started the slideshow, I had already turned th volume way up so I could hear your voice... The music was so loud it just about knocked me out if my seat. The tank is amazing. Just amazing. SO much work. SO much money. You are luck to have a partner that understands and encourages you.

Im curious how many layers of fiberglass did you use on this tank? Was it chop strand matt? Awesome diy by the way.
About four layers more in the corners and yes it was chop strand Matt. Thank you.
Am I right in thinking the glass you used first from the 125g would of been 12mm thick glass? Iv got some pieces and read I'm limited to 22" height but wondering if you can get away with higher if the glass is framed higher so its only exposed to 22" of water? Planning a 7'x7' but would like higher than 22" without buying more glass

Oscar fish and peacock bass both have that black circle with orange ring around it on the tail. Why is that? Are they related in some way?
The eye spot is common in many fish. They are both cichlids.
How do you heat your tanks? What heater do you use if you use one?
Nice build buddy. Im wondering how thick was your plywood? Im thinking of doing this with fiberglass but im not sure how thick my ply should be.

Sweet shipment. Just out of curiousity do you ever quarantine any new fish? I don’t think I’ve seen you do that. I’ll admit that I do not but I know my exactly what my importer does after getting fish so I have nothing to worry about.
I don't most of the time. I also know what my importer does. And if any issue pops up I treat all the fish just to be safe. Very rare fish I normally setup they're own tanks . Thank you.
