The thing for whole life is it is a "til you die" policy. So instead of this guy paying $3,000/mo into this policy, just put it in a brokerage account in a trust. After only 17 years it is $1,000,000 at 6%. After 40 years it is $5,500,000 at 6%. That beats $1,000,000 from the whole life policy by a mile. You can even borrow against it with SBLOC. Can have a small $1,000,000 20 year term policy just in case you die before the first 17 years. Permanent Life insurance part isn't necessary... at all

to be fair if each generation has only 2 kids, at generation 4 there will be 16 heirs. $12 million/2 = $6million. $6million/16 = $375,000 after 80 years of inflation that is going to be worth about $100,000 or less. Better than nothing, but important for each generation to ADD to the wealth. 3 kids each generation balloons to 81kids 6million/81 = $74,000 or only about 25-30,000 after inflation. Must ADD to the trust not just keep the original rolling
