These were recorded in the 1960s when they were signed to Dot Records. This compilation was released in 1973 on Paramount records who bought Dot Records. It was also released on 8 track and cassette but not on CD. The first 2 Dot albums were released on CD but the majority of their Dot Records recordings were never released on CD

My dad had this LP when I was a kid & I listened to it all the time. Weird for a 7 year old, lol. This is the best arrangement of Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy imho.

The album came out when Bette Midler's version of Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy the charts in 1973.Bought the album and cassette.Love both the originals and the remakes! Sadly,never was out out on CD.
