I remember watching that race on TV I was 17 at the time. When he hit the wall there was so much disbelief inside me. Many years later in 2012 when my wife was pregnant with our son she asked me what would you like to call him’ I said Senna. So we did he’s now 12 years old. My boy my son my Senna.

Thank you so much for sharing your visit to the memorial of Ayrton Senna. When you first got to it, my breath was taken away. There was nothing there though, to commemorate the life of Roland Ratzenberger, which is a shame.

Lovely view up at 500m. Reminds me of when I was flying an airplane for my 40 year. It is the time you really see the world from that high. I took my little drone for a fly around Fort Cumberland next to that Inland a complete month ago.

Nice video,looks a lot nicer than when I visited , no statue or anything, just flags etc tied to a fence alongside a load of wooden panels. I’ve always wanted to goto Zolder to visit the site where my own hero, Gilles Villeneuve died
