I think you're playing too cautiously by taking cover, being reluctant to move forward and trying to keep your soldier alive as long as possible. That doesn't matter as much in this game. Get in the action, do your things. You're gonna die. A lot. Getting in to the action has two main benefits: -You'll rack up points quickly to use more powerful units. -You'll assist your team in the objectives they need to defend/attack. If you're hiding in the back away from the objective you won't be of any help to the team, and frankly it is rather boring to watch. I hope that you will consider this seriously.
