Been a shurfshark user for around 4-5 years. But in the last 6-8 months, I have been getting a lot of issues. From internet dropping (had to disable the rotating IP to fix it). I can't connect to certain websites, my own being 1 and my router login (i have to disable the VPN to gain access). The "bypasser" function does not work and there are more issues. I've spoken to surfshark support & they blame everybody else but themselves. It's just funny, when I disable surfshark, everything works 🤔 needless to say, I will not be renewing this time round. PIA looks to be a good alternative. Main must for me, unlimited connections. Other VPN's offer around 5 devices. I can max that out myself, without adding my kids devices.

Then they will blame it on your credit card or whatever payment you used, sending you down a rabbit hole chasing a problem they created. And their support agents are clueless. Dont buy SurfShark VPN, unlimited devices are just trap words, they will block your account if you connect multiple devices and then they will say you violated our fair usage policy. I bought 1 Year subscription and they block my account after 25 days and now they say you are not eligible for refund too because you violated our terms of services.

Good review but I don’t think it’s representative of use outside America or Europe… From Australia not all features are enabled and using it is a painful experience. Captcha is triggered on most sites and Google hates it with a passion. Support is nobbled and they know it. Getting a refund is stalled at all opportunities but sheer persistence can obtain it . Strongly suggest trying for one month first … then you can avoid most of the pain.

I mean for 80 bucks basically for 2 years of service plus all the member benefits and the dedicated IP. On my phone then I switch to dedicated server on PC when gaming. Ispek as well. Man cyber ghost I can VPN and game have no major issues and I love it! Cyber ghost works for me. I sometimes use proton VPN when Im at home that way both dedicated servers don't interfere on the same WiFi. But I use Nord mail and I pay for the yearly service so it's a good back up. Specially since I technically pay for it. Hate that you can get dedicated ips for personal accounts on proton

Disappointing: Surfshark has no bypasser function in MacOS en not in iOS, very few countries with static iP's and not made with crypto trading in mind..

Save your money, folks. Surfshark VPN is a fraud! It doesn't matter what device you're using or what location you've chosen through the app. Either way, it should not be showing your real location's weather forecast or your location on Google Maps when the VPN app is enabled. That's the whole point of having a VPN is to hide your real location and IP address. Which it's NOT doing! The VPN service is a scam and should be reported to the authorities. 🤬

If they are promoting their service falsely, it is considered fraud. Which is against the law and is a criminal act. Surfshark VPN does not seem to hide your current location or IP address. You can easily verify this by doing a Google search for your local weather forecast, and it will show that your location is NOT hidden. Regardless of the protocol or area you select on the VPN app, it doesn't hide anything. I believe it's a scam, so it should be reported to ScamAdviser.

Surfshark is garbage, not worth money

Caution .... If you use smart switches in your LAN, Surfshark is the worst of all addresses, because it can suddenly happen that your entire smart home stops working and the service is also unable to help you .... And there's no money back either. So .... Better to look for alternatives 👎

I’m confused because I’ve tried NordVPN and Surfshark and every review says NordVPN is faster than Surfshark but I’ve tried both and every single time I do a speed test I get better speed on Surfshark, I have no idea what's going on with that.

I used ExpressVPN for many, many years. Over the past 3 years there was a serious degredation in service. Having to constantly contact CS for issues like being detected on Prime Video etc. I have since switched to NordVPN which is way, way, better. No more constant detection issues.
