Trauge W. May II PoorBoy Racing and Fabrication Co. 3v’s do not have forged internals. They have forged aluminum blocks. They can hold 1khp. Actually the weak link in those engines is the internals(480hp)

@@juanpena1988 far far from it - you can grab a 4.6 w3Valve for under a grand if you look around - 1100-1300 all day with low miles but the coyote is still going to be at least double if not more for same miles, and also probably a few more issues with the project that will add more cost too (using the coyote) grab a DOHC 4.6 from an old navigator or aviator and start with 315HP or get a 99 F150 4.6 for the crank but either way ford makes a lot of V8 motors with far less HP than a HEMI but far more fun than a mopar for a guy on a blue collar budget

Jason Hertel would you recommend the sn95 over the foxbody?

@@TheBb6prelude fox chassis can be made lighter. Sn95 has better brakes, good suspension, and great aftermarket aswell. Not to mention cheap, my $1300 96 gt went high 13s for about $100 in mods.

​@Mad Mod the fox can be lighter but not by much the sn is only like 100 lbs more give or take stock vs stock. Notch back might be little more. If you compare a gts 95 to a stripper lx the difference couldn't be much over 100-120 lbs. It's worth it for all the other advantages imo.
