Top 10 ways to COOK a GOOSE (Stuff gets Planted)
Просмотров 13Год назад
Checking off the to-do list. Planting sweet potatoes, getting the hoophouse planted up and struggling hard to not eat the goose!
Can i just throw them directly in a big 250 L planted, established aquarium? There is a huge root and plenty of different plants in it, and only two small killi fishes... :=)
In case you think its a good idea, should I introduce live plankton so they can find food easily available? What kind of plankton for a good "plankton ecosystem"?
I know this is 2 years old but if you use ant tweezers which they are such a thing you could actually put those eggs up no problem without harming them
@@mellewedin8221 what do you mean by put them up?
Thanks for the tour!
Our pleasure!
All your plants look dead with that filter...
Have you seen charles dowding and the green manure hot table he uses in his greenhouse? May be a more cost effective way of having more tables that result in compost!
Better be careful gardening with your wedding ring on lol
I actually lost it during the making of the strawberry bed video. Lol used the footage to find it though. I now have a tattoo and the ring is safely inside
I wish it was that easy... I tend to make EVERYTHING difficult! But I will say, this is encouraging, I might try again! Thx Nate!
So excited for this!! Congratulations Nate! 🪴
Congratulations! Looks like you have great potential with this opportunity. We hope all goes smoothly and people follow you to your new location Nate.
Thank you💚
Woooohoooo 🎉
I’d highly recommend investing in a good hand lens, like for botany and or geology, for scoping out the egg bois. The magnification is much better than a normal magnifying glass
Though I guess I came here for YOUR help 😂
lol it's no worries. I appreciate the advice. I have looked into a better hand lens for future list but currently its no where near the top of the list
Would feeding them crushed flakes be enough or are live foods a must?
You can certainly start them out on a finely crushed high quality flake food. Sometimes you'll have picky fry so that's why Ive went and stayed with live food to start them.
Great video, thanks! So the fry don't live off yolk sacks for a couple days like some other fish, you just feed immediately?
Thank you. The fry are born with yolk sacs. They are just very small and deplete rather quickly. Depending on the species you'll need, live bb, banana worms or infusoria as the ready for as soon as they hatch
@@terrafate Thank you so much!
That is really cool to see and i did hit the like and subscribe button for you. Thanks for sharing 💗👍✌️💯
What would be the difference between using this and the titebond 2? Thanks
Sorry for the late reply. Not 100% tbh. I know at one point T3 was the only recommended glue for cutting boards and surfaces where they would receive direct food contact. I see now that has changed. I do not know of anyone using T2 as T3 has kinda been the standard for as long as I can remember
Congratulations new neighbor! :)
Thank you
How exciting!
Indeed it is. So many things in the works. Hope to bring everyone along with us
I'm mounting this so I have peat moss soil with perlite and orchid bark work?
Yes that should work well. You'll just want to make sure to pre-soak everything for mounting
I have tried the peat method. It was good. I prefer just leaving the eggs in the methylene blue water.
This was an awesome video!! Ty so much!
Great information, very informative on the growth years. If only I'd known this info years ago.
Thank you for the kind words. Glad we were able to help
very informative tysm!

I find that I don't see many eggs, if any many times. But when you put the peat/coco in water, you get a lot of fry.
Some eggs can be super tiny. Even off of the larger species like gularis it can be difficult to see them
Would this glue be a good pva for a shower ceiling?
No. You would want something that is mold and mildew resistant.
Just wondered if this technique still holds up? Are you still using this with your builds? I'm looking for a silicone free solution and this seems perfect unless another technique has superceded it.
This method has still help up very well for me. Of course I have only kept smaller amphibians and reptiles in this type of background so i can not guarantee that with larger reptiles, their claws wouldn't do damage. The key to building the tite-bond background is thin layers no thicker than a 1/4" at a time and all for a slow drying period in between applications.
Great video
Thanks brother
This worked great for me so far. 4 days into drying and no Crack. Will it be ok to get wet when I spray the tank down every night after full dried? Thanks enjoy your videos
That's awesome news! Once fully dried you can mist it pretty heavily.
How long does it typically take to dry?
Drying times vary depending on how thick of a background is laid. I've noticed a 3/8" - 1/2" can take up to a week to dry in optimal conditions. I usually try to keep the thickness to around 1/4" or less which dries fully in a couple of days.
Great start! Can't wait to see what all you guys are up to!
Great Video!
the perfect video for me
Thank you

Looks good! Can't wait to see it!
Sorry it took so long for your internet to get fixed! Glad you have it again cannot wait for more content!
Great video. Would this work well for a drip wall background ?
I haven't used it as a drip wall but have used this technique for rapariums and the background which is in the water has held up for over a year now. I would say a drip wall would be fine.
Love the intro
Thank you!
Hey man, thanks for video! I tried your method and the mix has cracked somewhat during drying. Can you tell me what I did wrong?
Hey Lee, the mix needs to cure slowly. Too much heat it will dry too fast and crack. Don't fret though. If you have cracks after it's full dried. Just go back through with more mixture and apply into the cracks.
