Why did they have to include canned laughter for the second series. It spoilt it for me. But still a great short lived series from ITV.

Having watched this episode a few times, I've always found the sister's cold manner towards Miss Hicks on having just met her is puzzling. What is being suggested?

Anybody else think the lead actor looks like a cross between Hannibal Lecter (especially in the first episode when he was wearing a boiler suit for picking potatoes) and Patrick McGoohan (The Prisoner)...
