Guys, i just wana share my story: A looong time ago when i was ~16 I heard about log ...*, i searched about it and found log horizon, that was trash. And week ago i heard about gurren lagan and found that anime i was looking for not log horizont, it was gurren "lag"gan. I watched it, wanted to cry, but i am already 20 years old guy, and i noticed that with ears anime is not what anime looked that days... I miss that time. I wish i watched it when i was 16..😢 i neeeeed that feeeelings. Give me back my feelings.

Just finished the anime. First take on it is that it is not for me. Not satisfied at all at how things turned out and all bs that took place through out the show. Bonds were merely created not felt at all. I will come back after a few convos about this when i have my final take on this Anime.

for people who believe that it's the end it's true but not really after the wedding simon had left then the anime ended but there was the intro (the theme of the anime) then for 2 minutes they have shown after 20 years so simon was 41 years old So I advise you to watch again until the end of episode 27 even the intro (the themes).

После Гуррен Лаганна я перестал смотреть аниме, не смог найти хоть что-то стоящее после этого шедевра. Понял что лучшую работу я уже видел. Спасибо Реанимедии, кстати.

I think it's a bittersweet ending until I remember how they found this same small girl in a container all those years back, and then it hits me. The world had changed so much since then, and they had been through different adventures just for her, so it hurts to see that light disappear. We see so many different sides of her, and how much she means to everybody, so we the viewers can grasp how important she was in the world, and feel the weight she has as a person. Her character means something. Basically, she feels more real to us as a person.

Gurren Lagann and Samurai Jack have very similar endings, and both made me cry 😢
