The 41 always looks like a “fake” Rolex when I see it
Beautiful collection. It looks very similar to my. I am more of a dial person, so I love the variety of those dials. The only thing I would change is to replace on of the GMT’s with something more unique, since they both come with black dials. The meteorite Daytona is amazing. I also love love the Sprite. Here is my collection, very similar to yours. 1. GMT Sprite 2. Daytona Pikachu 3. Milgauss Zblue 4. GMT meteorite 5. Day-date rhodium dial 6. Tudor Chrono Pink All dials are different from each other.
Very cool! Checking a lot of dial color boxes, for sure!If you’re ever in Chicago, maybe you can stop by the studio! Would love to see the meteorite gmt.
@@TickingTimeTom I would love to, but I’m in Vietnam
Good ol Bill!
What does this make god tier? You are using Nico’s words, so a Casio is missing. However except the vintage Pepsi it’s all shiny mass produced modern Rolex. Quite boring, no watches with hand craft or something thoughtful. Only buying the hype. A pity, the setting of video is nice.
Who would wear a Casio when you have a such nice collection?
I think this is a cool collection and had some more unique and special watches but sure, thanks for that feedback.
It’s a good watch collection. Why so much negativity ?
@@TickingTimeTomunique? Rolex? Nah...
Fantastic collection! Really great content as well.
Thank you kindly!
Nice
Nice job gents. Easy listening, interesting and entertaining. Worth the watch. Cheers
Am I mistaken or do those have the same dial size but the rounded 36mm bezel is just thinner and 41mm has thicker case and lugs in a complete visual mindf*ck
i think there is only 2mm diff between the actual dial size
Daniel Wellington, legendary watch.
Incredibly tasteful and personal collection.
Very interesting, going through collections. A really great addition to RUclips ✨
Stumbled upon the show. Love the content!
36 always, 41 is Rolex selling to the insecure 😂
41 is just better
@@zzaacchh why does it make pizza ??
Fantastic! Could you tell me the brand of the brown suède strap that’s on the Grand Seiko?
Could you let us know the reference number for the band you're using on the moon watch you received for your wedding. I like the white stitching.
Beautiful collection!💯
What a great conversatio. Got inspired and learned new things too - thank you. I subscribed in support of your channel; best of luck to you
Awesome, thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.
Tony is the man!
Lucky to get into watches thru Movado. Now it's time to leave that ugly @ss brand behind. Seriously, one of the UGLIEST, most embarrassing to wear brands on earth
Really ruined the bb58 with the RB logo
Yeah, I wish they re-designed it slightly with their Rowing Blazer design language. Not just stamp it with their logo lol like who are they SUPREME
Really great video and collection
Thanks for checking it out!
I have been listening to Hodinkee Radio starting with the first episodes. Is Steven that was the interviewer, still with Hodinkee? He was fun to listen too.
Buy. What. You. Want. Its just a watch.
It is not just a watch.... you may buy a 5$ watch if you think is a sample watch...
Tom, thanks so much for inviting me on to talk watches! Excited to see your channel grow.
Thanks for coming out and being a guest! I had a great time speaking with you 🤝
"None of these watches are icons" .... brother there is a Rolex Explorer on the table lol
Superb video! One of the last good guys on the Dink
Love the video, keep up the great work, brother
I’m not sure I have seen a collector video so aligned to my own taste. Part of it is my small wrist - but also just a love of icons - and a skew to history. Thanks for the video both!
Oh and I got a vintage dial printing plate from that flea market in Geneva!
Glad you enjoyed!!
I’m so glad the algorithm sent me over here. I have subscribed and I look forward to more as well as your previous content. Tony is such an interesting gentleman and as he aptly describes himself as humble. I do love his particular Reverso so much. The simplicity of it along with that grey dial and Romans; a thing of beauty. That little Movado just makes me want to find one of those. Thanks !
Thanks for the sub and glad you enjoyed!
New sub! Love hearing about watch enthusiasts and how their collection started and evolved. Great interview style.
🙌 thank you! Glad you’re enjoying and welcome aboard 🤝
Vintage. Yes! Unique shapes. Yes! Until this very minute (ha!😊) I could never pin down my interest in watches. Thank you!
Tony Traina is sound. Always worth listening to or reading his articles.
I tired to add in more B-roll of the watches after some feedback on past episodes. Also trying to keep episodes a bit shorter. Hope everyone enjoys!
Nomos make incredible watches
You think? Why?
@@michaelriera6277They are 100% made in house with very high quality materials in Germany. Watch the video of Teddy touring their watch manufacturer plant. Your mind will be blown.
Subscribed! Love the clock on the wall behind you! Where can I get one?
Thanks for that! You can find it here: amzn.to/3zjrLy1 It ran out of battery, but the gears move and it looks pretty sweet when it's running.
Sick!
Great to see Tony as a guest. Love the collection he has established. Now let’s get Ben Clymer on the show……
A dyslexic on law review at Northwestern is damned impressive. Leaving biglaw money to write watch articles…similarly impressive. Saying the IWC Marks are derivative of the explorer…not as impressive!
You know why the Instagram brand costs much less? Because they’re cutting off the middleman! 😂
All awesome, but that Reverso is 👌
Awesome vintage pieces. Really cool to learn more about your collecting journey. Thanks Tony and Tom!
Fantastic collection and a brilliant episode!
Thank you!
What a journey, from Daniel Wellington to Vacheron and Breguet. Great collection.
Sweet piece
Exquisite
I dig this
36 classic
I dig this guy.
my dad used to have a 36 jubilee but he traded in for 41 because he said 36 is a bit small even he got a small wrist.
I have a smaller wrist, but still prefer the 41 too.
If you have lady sized wrists it looks foolish trying to pull off a 41 lol
@@chandlergalvez4409 it’s a fad to have a big watch 😂
Depends on wrist size, 7 inches are over 41
