    Hannover sounds like a weird first city to visit in Europe as 15 of the world‘s 20 greatest cities are in Europe and Hannover isn‘t one of them. But, actually Hannover is not a bad choice as it is a city that is very typical European and very average at it, so it will give you a great baseline expectation for everything else. Other options for great but average European cities: Cluj Napoka, Porto, Lyon, Basel, Krakow.

    Did you literally do everything one day in Joshua tree and everything after that in one day in Los Angeles? Or did you spend much longer in Los Angeles than that, because it looks like everything you saw would’ve taken at least two days!

    • @workingweekender
      @workingweekender 2 месяца назад

      @@a-muse6567 hi! We spent one full day in Joshua Tree staying the night in the town closest to the park Twentynine Palms, CA. The next morning we drove to LA and saw some of the highlights before our flight home that evening. So it looked something like this: -Friday evening: fly to LA, drive an hour inland -Saturday: Continue to JT, see JT, night in 29 Palms -Sunday: Drive to LA, see highlights, fly home This worked out for us because we’ve mostly seen LA before, but I would definitely schedule more time here if you’ve never seen it and would like to spend more time here. As for Joshua Tree, I guess it might have been the off season (early December), so we got through the park relatively smoothly without being rushed.

      @workingweekender 3 месяца назад

      Hi @yarddogjones3914, Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I understand that we may have different views on the age of Devil's Tower and the Earth. My intention was never to cause frustration or discomfort, but rather to share information as I understand it. It's important for us as Christians to communicate with love and patience, especially when discussing topics that can be divisive. A non-Christian reading our exchange might become more resistant to our message if they sense anger or defensiveness. We can share our beliefs without creating barriers. When you wrote your comment, did you believe it would help change my perspective? Sometimes, a gentle approach can be more effective in encouraging meaningful dialogue. If you're interested, here's an article that discusses different views on the age of the Earth within the Christian community: www.christianity.com/wiki/bible/how-old-is-the-earth.html (you may need to copy and paste; I'm not sure if links work in RUclips comments). It explores various perspectives, which might be enlightening for both of us. There are a lot of unanswered questions for us as humans. We cannot know it all; frankly we really should not want to know it all. But we can have faith in the One who does. There are a lot of unknown details which the Bible does not provide straightforward answers, and that is okay. At the end of the day, the most important message that it does clearly provide is that of the good news that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for our sins and was resurrected, offering salvation and eternal life to all who believe in Him. Through His sacrifice, we are forgiven and reconciled to God. And that this gift of grace is available to everyone, inviting us into a loving relationship with God. Have a good day, Rachel

      Thank you so much!! It really is so beautiful in Rome. I felt very safe, but I definitely made sure to stay in well-lit areas

    Wow, what an incredible journey through Los Angeles. So many iconic spots captured beautifully! But hey, as a local, I've got a hot tip for you and your viewers: don't miss out on the ultimate relaxation experience at Quantum Clinic. Located in the heart of LA, it's the go-to spot for floating spa therapy to truly rejuvenate your mind and body. Trust me, you won't regret adding this gem to your LA itinerary!

    Custer State Park could easily be a National Park. It's amazing.

      Totally agree! This park is definitely better than a few of the national parks that I’ve visited!

      This was in the first week of July. I would say it was relatively warm. I believe the high was in mid 80s

    I like breakfast for dinner :) Spam and potatoes for the win: I just find it nice that you show what a camp meal sometimes is, that's real. It isn't always a glamorous 3 course meal.. especially after a long hike. Thanks for taking us with you.

    9:00 I did this trail today and I noticed there was a random piece of wood near that waterfall where it looked like a ladder or more steps had been. So that cleared up my confusion 😂

      Also at 10:15 I got lost right here and wasted like an hour going the wrong way

      Oh wow!! Yeah there are definitely many parts of this trail that were not clear at all. We also did the first part of this trail about 3 years ago, and we also spent a LONG time getting a little too far off the path. Really encouraged me to download the AllTrails map the second time around 😅
