oh my gosh, did you type this all out? appreciate it so much either way! I need to bust these paints out again and I need to come back to the channel. I have been focusing on my art membership, The Playful Painter Studio and catching up on art with the new space and time I have with babies back in school and hubs back in the office majority of the week. Still transitioning to “normal”. Let me know what you think about this palette after you play a bit. :) Would love to hear!

@@fluximagery6500 - Thanks! I love this palette, especially the reds, yellows and green. I do find that it works better if you wet it for a while before you start using it.

I love them but I think you’re right that I need more water with them. I use a different painting technique now too that allows more water in my mixes. I will make bigger swatches next time. ❤️

Thanks to your informative video, I have ordered the yellow palette, along with buttercream, zirconium yellow, egg yolk, coral,carmine, cypress, burnt umber dark, shadow blue, fl. Brick and Vivienite. They had a great Black Friday sale which enabled me to do this. I can’t wait to try these out.

Watching the timelapse paintings of others would throw me off because they usually edit out the mixing of colors (I do too) so I was thinking I would be moving much quicker in real life and that is not the case. hahaa. Hi lady! I think the issue is, they aren't that great for prints. But when it comes to original work and your sketchbook, gorgeous. I use my shimmer for highlights and accents, not in every part of my pieces. Just a thought and what I do. They are delicious though, want to gobble them all up. :D I have "Box of Chocolates" coming!
