There are at least 2 problems with that... 1. All the weight being on one wheel. 2. Using it as a drive wheel. My electric bike weighs only 22 pounds. It's front-wheel-drive and most of the weight is on the back wheel while riding. Planning to try it for the front wheel, but my main concern is just prying the tire onto the rim, over the foam. Lacing a 16 inch wheel is a bear, especially when using a double wall rim. I rode an electric mono wheel. Jumping stilts too :D

The only thing is that if someone attacks you before you get to your pen, then you may not have time to open it and then get it into action whereas if you have a tactical pen like the rebel from atomic Bear or even just a steel barrel pan of any kind, you can create damage and not only have more durability of your pen to last in a fight, but you can do even more damage especially with a tactical pen. The rebel in particular is a very discreet one now there are many pens that can be used for self-defense that don’t look tactical as well, but the rebel has a glass breaker on it so you can use some thing that is meant to hit things. Not saying a normal plastic pan is bad but it’s typically better if you go for something that’s kind of purpose built. You can also write with tactical pens as well and they write very good usually and you can get refills with them to.

Any threat to life will more likely be caused by secondary trauma, such as Striking their head on the ground or other object while falling g. The initial strike is not, in itself, known to be fatal.

Though he makes some good points and I'm not an expert in unarmed combat or self defense but @9:26 it's actually the carotid artery (in the neck), the femoral artery is down the leg hence Femoral = near the femur... Of course both can lead to very significant hemorrhage (bleeding) when applied in the right position with the right technique! A pen can also be used quite effectively for pressure points (pain compliance) as well, like just like any similarly shaped thing for that matter, if that's all you have. Though I have had some training, I've always held the belief that 'if it (ANYTHING) can be moved it can also be used as a weapon". Use your imagination; keys, a pen like he mentioned, ladies- use your nails and swing that purse if that's all you have to escape that situation and yell! Read up on as much self defense as you can or take a course. It just has to do enough for you to get away...

I bought the similar tires for my 26in super Cruiser Firestone bicycle and the bike is pretty heavy especially me being a hundred and thirty pounds I don't want to use these tubes I tried him today for my tires and they don't fit really well and I'm kind of frustrated with them these are not the tires that you should be using on your Cruiser especially on a big bike because like you said they're not very reliable I'm going to try something else maybe you putting the tube and putting slime in it and then buy one of those plastic nail blockers to put around the tube before I put it in the tire and doubling it so it can stop the nail from going through or any twigs you're right these tubes are crap I gave them to my brother so he can try to use them maybe he'll get better use out of them then I did

The issue with video's such as this is, one will view it, and never actually practice it, and believe it will work when needed. The over whelming vast majority of citizen's if not all, were originally taught not to harm other's some grow up learning it a way of life and some don't. Those that don't are subject to getting hurt, those that do, gain experience by doing it. Thus those that don't actually need to practice deliberately hurting someone which goes against their entire ideaology. Much in the same way one can view how to utilize a hammer to drive a nail, but can't actually do it without practicing using the hammer and nail in real life. I've read articles and viewed video's where as a martial artist with years of experience in a dojo, getting their ass kicked in a real life engagment with someone who has actuall experience of harming someone in real life. All those hook techniques some teach just don't work in a real life, real speed, actual altercation. Developing the mindset to deliberately hurt someone which goes against one upbringing aka ideaology take practice. I'd personally suggest, one use a heavy bag and or one of those practice dummies to practice swing a cane for instance to gain some actuall experience as to how a physics involving how a cane reacts when striking an object vs just swing it in open air.
