My research shows that even the 6.4 is affected to a lesser degree. You are not supposed to idle it...but let's be honest out for camping it's gonna be on standby for a lot. Any feedback on this ?

I used to be a die hard ford fan, and I still like the pre 2010 stuff, but those ecoboosts are junk. I've got one blown up in the yard right now with 120K miles that I'm still making payments on. I'd gladly take a 2 valve 4.6 or an old 5.0, and I'd bend over backwards to get another fuel injected inline 6, but I'm pretty sure I'll never buy a turbo ford again.

Eco motors are great for exploding with under 100,000 mi on it. I'm very happy with my 6.6 l 400 small block. In my 2024 Chevy extended Express Cargo Van.(A unicorn vehicle)

that price tag is hefty for this size aircraft but you are definitely buying those safety features. I'd say it is absolutely worth every penny if needed to be use to save friends and family
