Missing a buoy can be costly, luckily no damage

Travelled from Kingston to Meaford to get out of the rain to find the calm waters and sunshine. We launched in Meadford and went to Wasaga Beach to have a bbq lunch on the beach. On our trip we missed the buoy and ended up in very shallow water. Thank goodness we were able to get out without any damage. It was a beautiful day with calm waters. Hope you enjoy the scenery and the adventure!

Lake Muskoka group Ride with Toronto Jetski group

Come on a group ride with us and 61 other riders hosted by Toronto Jestski. We went from Lake Muskoka to Lake Rosseau with a stop at Turtle Jacks for lunch in Port Carling. This was our first big ride and Karen's third outing with the new ski. It was quite an adventure as that many riders create quite a wake as you will see. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Im in S Florida where I and so many others have super slick 2000 on the bottom because it just started peeling out of the box and gently beaching is part of visiting all the islands. Also, I just did a vid on how I put the extra Yamaha under hood storage bag and soft cleat loops for fenders and dock lines like how you did with the baby rings but less intrusive under the hood. check it out!

Why do you take the batteries out in the winter? Note: I have always used Battery Tenders. So this practice seems odd to me. But, I also have only owned Kwai’s & Sea Doo’s too. Previous lived in California where it seldom gets cold enough to freeze. Is this the reason? Thank you. Great video. Very informative. VX had features I was Not aware of.

@@centralcal6604 Yes, I have heard that. I was not positive that it was true. But I do “Cycle” them. And they are pretty well ventilated in my heated garage. I “Test” (run) the generator. And run the quad & side by side so that they are not “On” more than two months with out being run. The Sea Doo of course just gets un plugged for a day or two and the battery gets tested with a fluke meter. Having used these methods at work has saved me grief, and the company has recognized my maintenance methods has produced a decrease in product failure. And increase in longevity. So, I must have been doing something right?

Looks like you two are getting the hang of power offloading (must turn handlebars back & forth). Being a contrarian, I push mine off the trailer and winch it on. Good call getting the HO; what with the big lakes you're riding the extra speed is useful. Your tow rig doesn't look beefy as some - is it close to max cap with two skis + trailer?

    • @KandGExcursions

Most of the time we are able to push it off, but on the shallower ramps we need to power it off. Our GVWR is 2995lbs and our two skis only weigh 1600lbs together. The trailer seems solid and we are really happy with it so far.
