What no one seems to understand is this. The universe is binary. Things either are, or they are not. WE add the gray by just simply existing. Dawkins doesn't understand that it is both sides of the same coin. The universe is God discovering himself THROUGH US. If we're good, we can come into that good. God is pure energy on the most positive side, so HE CAN'T ALLOW SOMETHING THAT WILL DISRUPT THAT...BY NATURE.

Atheism is growing rapidly. Should we call this the New New atheism?

Rational thinking is "dead"?? Nah, I'm gonna say that *rational thinking* is very much alive and *STILL* the most sound and productive method for living. And apparently the delusional zombie in this video feels that rational thinking and *evidence* that you can see with your own eyes is _"at odds with reality",_ but *"talking snakes* and *bodies that rise from the dead after 3 days"* is not at odds with reality?!??? Good grief... delusion is a dangerous thing.

“New atheism” isn’t dead, it’s the world that has changed, not atheism. To understand this, you need to understand where atheism has come from in the last 40-50 years. When people like Dawkins, Harris, Hitchens, etc. rose in popularity atheism was a tiny minority and most of the time demonized, belittled and scorned. There are surveys from the 80’s where for instance in America people were asked who they would or wouldn’t trust. And atheists were the least trusted group, even below convicted murderers and rapists… That was the reality for atheists. It was a group of which it was socially acceptable to bully or discriminate against. Then all of a sudden you had these intellectual atheists that pushed back against religion. And they pushed hard. They showed the validity and value of atheism and that it was a reasonable position to have. And especially in the western world, atheism became more popular and socially acceptable over time to the point we are at today. Today the internet and social media is still swarming with atheists with roughly the same message as those early atheists. The reason why it doesn’t feel as shocking or impactful as those other atheists seemed, is simply because society has changed and opinions and messages like these don’t cause as big waves anymore as they used to do.
