i bought this nib on ebay last year, the speaker didn’t work and only the arms partially moved, i opened it up to repair the speaker but when i was opening up the foot it was so corroded the wires came off of the battery compartment, speaker is corroded/rusted too.

Actually, it looks like it was a working one. It just looks like it was pulled apart, and the reason why it was moving haywire is because one of the little boards were screwed into the back of the motor and when it’s not screwed on, it can’t tell what position it’s in and the reason why it’s not talking is because it doesn’t have a speaker right now so you destroyed a good Furby.
does it look “good” to you? i’ve been collecting electronics for years now and there’s no way i could’ve fixed this, if it makes u feel better i burnt a fully working yellow 2012 furby lol

@@koolcartergemmy it depends on the condition of the v2. if its straight out of the box then it'll be fine for a few days or so. if it starts to get hot or shorts out you needa get it rewired immediately
@@TheAllPowerfulMugKing my old nib v2 only lasted half an hour before it started smoking
@@koolcartergemmy my v2 survived longer, weird. It survived 2 weeks actually and it wasn't rewired, I think it's because I didn't use it much and I usually take the batteries out after using it
