Went on the scariest thing ever
I went to Tayto Park for my nineteenth birthday in 2015, the first year of the cu chullain, and went on it for the first time. It’s so much faster than it looks! I’ve been on it a couple of times since, but honestly the rotator is better!
I don’t like the rotator because it lasts less then 1 minute. I don’t know if the ride used to be longer but it’s really short.
@@oneofusiscrocheting It’s short, but the thing is the queue is always super quick because it seats so many people. That makes it tolerable for me, but I totally agree that rides at these places can be too short. Sure there’s nothing worse than queuing for hours just for a couple of minutes of fun!
@@caranook The queue is quick only like 15mins but the Viking voyage is not worth the wait. Usually the queue is like 1hr-1hr 30mins.
@@oneofusiscrocheting The queues on that are insane! The Viking Voyage was really disappointing. The final drop is alright, nothing special though, and everything else is pretty slow and dull.

Anyone know why they slow down some of the rides at Tayto Park? Not this one, but Air Race is literally a third of the speed I've seen elsewhere.
It's all because people mostly get sick on them. Edit: just like the rotator it used to do a loop and stay at the top spinning for a few seconds
Imo this is way, way better than the Rotator, which isnt even necessarily the scariest or most fun circular ride at the park. Also, you can find similar at most travelling fairs. Unlike this rollercoaster.
That sums up the experience much better than forward camera. Would have liked a review though. Best rollercoaster I've been on, brutal, noisy, rides way more scary than it looks. The only coaster I've been on where you feel physically drained afterwards (in a good way). The scariest looking bits aren't actually the worst bits and there is a great hidden slalom section that is particularly rough. Looks fantastic too.

@@Drewbyu Agreed. Can't believe people saying it is better than the rollercoaster. I've been on the rotator in Portugal and it is standard stuff you get at a travelling fair. There are even two or three similar circular rides at Tayto Park that are arguably better ' a blue and white one, can't remember the name. Also, I think the Tayto Park version is slowed down? They certainly slow down the air race ride, which is insane at full speed in other countries.
