A jungle is characterized by dense vegetation such as trees and your daughter was smart enough to notice it. Kudos to your smart daughter. You have to remove the plastic as it changes colors according to the temperature, so in plastic if you keep, it will not change colors because it can't know the environments temperature, it changes colors according to the temperature. Please remove plastic, I also have the color changing statue of our lady of fatima wether, as I have also removed the plastic! The only thing is to take care from the dust as it will get spoiled and if you wash it, it will not change colors, so keep in mind for this!
