Whats an "interval timer"?

When your bleeding the front calipers, did they bleed properly? Are they squeezing the brake disk properly?The calipers seemed the same on all four wheels on one I worked on.

@ no the front brakes barley had any fluid coming out. The back ones are fine right from factory. It was odd barely any fluid came out. And we pumped and pumped the brake pedal. The brake pedal alone barely moves. Maybe a quarter inch to half an inch if lucky

Sounds like something is wrong on your master cylinder where fluid should be pushed to front wheels. Are the fittings fully open when you unscrew the front brake lines from master cylinder?

@ I did not unscrew anything from the master cylinder I left it stock from factory. I only unscrewed the nut attached to the caliper and tried pushing the brake pedal for the fluid to push out of the caliper on each side

Whats fluid level like in master cylinder? Maybe it's low on fluid.

An air cooled engine can not operate and do its work without the recoil in place because the recoil directs the air flow over the engine cooling fins to cool it. It wouldn't run very long without the recoil in place. Usually the screeching is from a bad clutch under the recoil. The clutch is only like $20-25 online.

@@crankytuber well crap I done pulled the plastic part and rope out. I don't cut with it or run for long periods of time so hopefully it will live

Oh, you mean just removing the white plastic recoil pulley from the shroud? That won't harm anything. Your fine as long as the metal shroud stays in place.

Yup, the carb bowl on original carbs are riveted on to make them disposable. The one I'm recommending is removable.

Start with the basics; like put a trickle charger on the battery, do any indicator lights come on on dash, etc.

@@crankytuber yes runing Very well 👍🏼! Now bolts spark plugs are chocolat milk color 👌you can Check your coils whit tester! The spéc are on RUclips! Sory for my english I am from Québec 🤷🏻!!

I might have the owner try this. I moved out of this machines area so can't do it myself.

I have a big block honda clone (420 predator) powering my wife's golf cart dump bed firewood hauler...anyways, the manual choke is hard to reach & I was thinking the vacuum style might be better. I'll give it a shot. I ordered up the intake spacer with the nipple & the vacuum solenoid plate.

He messed up the brakes cuz they were hitting on the new rear tire sidewalls.

On this model there is only a LO range. No Hi. The shift selector is LO -N-RE

My gocart is stuck in low gear also. I wasn’t even aware this gocart had a low gear. It won’t go into “D” instead it says “L” now.

This model only has L gear. L - N - R

I believe your correct. Its bending whenever they were hitting reverse. Its a terrible design on TaoTao's part.

I have the resin banded one. The band feels amazingly not there. The watch part seems normal weight for most such sized watches. What band did you get on yours?

I just replaced the metal version with the resin, feels so much lighter and more comfortable for me! Got the negative display, probably will get the positive display too because they’re so cheap! Love the watch as well! Love the big display

I got the negative display on mine. Its cool looking albeit a bit harder to read then a regular display.

I did not. I contemplated making them to sell but I still had issues with the chain falling off albeit not as often as the original tensioner did.

I wish you stood had cuz whether it all came off or not I'ts still better than what's on them. Has to be.

QUESTION: I have one that I start and run under a load for about an hour every 3 months. Runs fine BUT recently it ran good for about 8 seconds before I put a load on it then it died. Happened several times in a row. Could it be a faulty oil pressure switch (sensor/sending unit)?

The engine oil is 10w-40 and it oils the engine and the transmission on the TaoTao Go Kart. If yours is same engine type its probably same way.

Yeah, albeit with a less then ideal setup currently but, ones gotta do what ones gotta do!

Glad you dared to delve in and fix it yourself. Rock on! So many things a guy can fix himself by merely believing he can. And the tools and basic supplies to have on hand to fix most things are very inexpensive.

Thanks for the offer. Its solved. Ive just moved several hours out of the area its from and one of first small engines I'm shown at the new location is a gent rebuilding the exact same engine! Him and me are gonna be first running it on the work bench next week.
