We are all so spoiled in this magnificent existence that we are here alive at the same time that this jam is also here like a giant flashing neon arrow pointing to where we have been with a dry martini on the side 57 ..imagine the clothes, the women, the instruments , cigarette smoke up your nose. the decor , which drinks? And the cars outside .

I remember Buddy DeFranco dissing Art Pepper's clarinet playing in a blindfold test. Although Pepper didn't have anywhere near the technique of DeFranco on clarinet, I prefer Pepper's playing and sound.
